A novelty at Tucson 2019. Druze of small elongated Dioptase crystals, with rhombohedral terminations, transparent and with bright luster, on matrix with pale blue shattuckite. Dioptase is a rarity in Milpillas, another surprise like many to which this locality has accustomed us. The sample has been noted and photographed in the monograph 'The Milpillas Mine' of the ‘Mineralogical Record‘ magazine on page 585 in the volume 52, number 5, September-October 2021 and in the magazine ‘Mineral Up’ on page 42 of the 2020/02 edition.
