BRM88AP1: Descloizite
Descloizite crystal groups much more flattened and sharp than usual in the deposit. Translucent on the edges, shiny, and on matrix. The specimen, a classic of great quality, comes from an important European collection.

Coatings of Descloizite microcrystals on matrix, with an extraordinary luster and a color between red and deep garnet-red. The specimen, of high quality due to its extraordinary color, comes from the Moutet collection, from Marseille. We will send the buyer, together with the specimen, a label from the prestigious Deyrolle house in Paris where Moutet bought it many years ago.

XM2560BFT: Descloizite
Large pineapple-like groups of thick terminated Descloizite crystals, with good luster and dark brown color tones, and of great size. It comes from a classic deposit for the species, Berg Aukas, in Namibia, mined until 1978 for zinc, lead and vanadium.

RM69I2: Descloizite
Group of dipyramidal crystals, very well defined, bright and of a clearer color than usual. The dipyramide, as opposed to the most common on samples from Grootfontein, is thick and without curves.
The sample is with a label from John S. Albanese, from New Jersey.

EE76D2: Descloizite
Thick, really thick, this crystal does not look anything like the other descloizites I have seen. I really like the bulk of it as well as its strange architecture.

RP64L3: Descloizite
Group of Descloizite crystals formed by the dipyramid faces and lateral pinacoid, both very brilliant. Specimen shows a nice reddish brown color. In the handwritten label we can read Tsumeb as the locality, but we must advise that in those years many specimens from different deposits and localities from Namibia were mislabeled as Tsumeb.

EK86V1: Descloizite
Aggregate of very flattened dipyramidal crystals of dark brown, almost black color, with a second generation of smaller reddish crystals.

RG87M9: Descloizite
Typical sample from the most productive times in Berg Aukas, with crystals of slightly oval edges, dark and with reddish reflections. The sample, on matrix, is really a classic.

RA37G6: Descloizite
Good group of numerous crystals. Every one of the crystals is itself a group of little crystals of delicately curved edges, a typical shape in the classic samples from Namibia. The piece seems to be stalactitic because it is hollow at its base.

RQ69M3: Descloizite
This specimen shows two well differentiated aspects. on one side crystals resemble a bird's feather, flattened, with good luster and reddish color. On the back side one can see thick Descloizite crystals with very well defined faces and edges and completely black color.
This sample was from Scott J. Williams (Southwest Co.) of Scottsdale, Arizona. The piece is accompanied by Mr. Folch’s handwritten label and card Nr. 9520 from the Folch Collection. We’ll send both to the buyer.

TM67X2: Descloizite
Elongated spheroidal growths, on matrix, of small dipyramidal crystals. They are very bright and have a color between dark brown and reddish brown.
The sample, very significant and of excellent quality for the mine, is with a Schortmann’s Minerals label that we'll send to the buyer.

NV9I8: Descloizite
Columnar and arborescent groups, very aerial and esthetic, of dipyramidal crystals, most of them doubly terminated, with very well-defined faces and edges. They have good luster.

NF13I7: Descloizite
Group on Limonite matrix of small bright crystals, most of them doubly terminated, forming dipyramids with very well-defined faces and edges. The specimen is very esthetic due its columnar growths, with very attractive crests and vugs.
This specimen was photographed and published as a novelty at the 2007 Tucson Show in the magazine ‘Le Règne Minéral’ number 74, page 9.

Group on matrix of Limonite of small, very bright crystals, a lot of them doubly terminated, that form sharp dipyramids.

TR46G3: Descloizite
Such crystallization is very uncommon. Crystals are orthorhombic bipyramids of very well-shaped faces and edges, with a beautiful bright brown color. With a wide "pedigree" as its five labels show. We'll send these labels to the buyer of the specimen.

The Preguiça Mine is currently well known and the species from there well described. Anyway, an unusual find was made there in 2006, a pseudomorph of Descloizite after Vanadinite. The analysis we did shows only Descloizite but the crystal form is without doubt that of former Vanadinite.
This specimen was photographed in the magazine ‘Le Règne Minéral’ number 88, page 42.

Parallel floater growths of very sharp tabular Descloizite crystals, translucent, with good luster, and partially covered by small rhombohedral Calcite crystals.

Very esthetic and aerial group of Descloizite crystals with deep reddish tones. Well defined faces and edges forming parallel growth which remind one of a bird's feather. On matrix.
The piece is accompanied by a handwritten label from Mr. Folch that we’ll send to the buyer.

Very aerial and esthetic columnar growths of small but extraordinarily defined and bright crystals. Those are dipyramidal and have very well defined faces and edges and most of them are doubly terminated. The matrix is a group of crystals of white Calcite.
