EZR99AP2: Copper and Calcite with Copper inclusions
Scalenohedral crystals of Calcite, one of them clearly dominant, accompanied by leafy aggregates of Copper surrounding the Calcite crystals externally but with the particularity that other copper crystals are included within the scalenohedrons of Calcite, giving them the reddish color so characteristic of this type of specimen, an American classic.

TXR13CD6: Copper with Analcime
Very aerial group formed by well-defined Copper crystals in stalagmitic growth, with their characteristic bronze color that has not been lost even though it is a very old specimen. A large and sharp Analcime crystal makes the piece even more attractive. This specimen, well documented and of very considerable size, comes from the Fernando Reyna collection and it is very noteworthy that the Copper crystals are so well defined in such a large specimen.

TV46AJ8: Copper with Calcite
Very aerial dendritic native Copper growths on matrix with aggregates of complex Calcite crystals that are translucent, bright, and have a pale pink color. This association of native Copper and well crystallized Calcite is known but rare at Keweenaw.
The sample is from the American mineral dealer Al McGuinness whose label we will send to the buyer.

TE47H3: Copper with Calcite
Good arborescent group, very aerial, with sharp Copper crystals in a pocket filled with very small crystals of Calcite. Even considering Copper as a common species for the locality, good samples are actually rare.

Dendritic growth of Copper crystals with a rounded shape but with some smooth and very well defined faces. The aggregate is on a very unusual matrix with translucent white rhombohedral Calcite crystals. The sample is with a Steven C. Chamberlain collection label that we will send to the buyer.

Very aerial aggregate of big, bright crystals whose faces are very well defined for the species and contrasting with the white coatings of Calcite.

AE66M6: Copper with Calcite
Arborescent growth of very well defined crystals (for the species) that also have good size. They are associated with Calcite crystals. The sample has very good quality for the locality, a classic for copper minerals.
We’ll send two labels to the buyer, Silvane’s label and a handwritten label, corresponding to the Folch Collection (num. 9060).

Surely this ample offers the most classic image of what a native Copper sample should be, with delicate and very well balanced arborescent growths of crystals with rounded faces and edges and with the precise matrix to give it the necessary esthetic character.

TT47N0: Copper with Cerussite and Cuprite
A novelty for Tucson 2009. Dendritic aggregate crystals, deformed but very sharp faces and edges. Partially covered by octahedral crystals of Cuprite and small crystals of Cerussite, which is a very uncommon paragenesis. The sample is from a recent find (July and August of 2008) at a Russian locality practically unknown until now.
The specimen has been reviewed, photographed and published as a new discovery in the magazine ‘Rivista Mineralogica Italiana’ on page 280 in number 2009/4

Dendritic growth of crystals with perfectly defined faces and edges, very visibly twinned according to the Spinel law, and uniformly coated by Cuprite, with the typical reddish color. The sample, very fine and esthetic, is excellent in all orientations.

Unbelievable esthetics. Spinel twin Copper crystals with added branches. Everything covered by a thin coating of Cuprite which gives it a nice reddish color. It looks like a Spinel twin Copper that received an electric shock! Sorry for the analogy but I'm so impressed that I cannot find a better way of describing it.

This comes from the great find of native copper made at the Itauz Mine. It is a very esthetic floater. There are small crystals of Cuprite among the Copper that add color and a special touch to the specimen.

Extraordinarily elongated and flat crystal with a very obvious spinel twin. On its upper part it has dendritic growths of smaller Copper crystals. The reddish shade is due to a Cuprite coating.
