Arborescent growth of small crystals, bright and quite defined. It is from a not well known locality and it is quite esthetic.

Excellent crystallization clearly showing the faces of the dodecahedron, even considering the typical deformation and elongation of crystals.
The sample is from an old collection of Northwestern University and we’ll include the label.

TM71C8: Copper
Very sharp individual Copper crystal perched on an esthetic matrix made up of other Copper crystals and partially covered by minor, but brilliant, Quartz crystals. An old classic as is proven by the label number: 334605 from the Swedish Museum of Natural History which is included with the specimen.

In the group, the crystals show especially sharp crystal faces. The surface of the faces had resisted the passage of time and they are practically free of any alteration.

AC6AA6: Copper
Dendritic aggregates of crystals with very well defined faces and edges, on matrix. Copper is a very rare species at the classic locality of Sacarimb; specimens like this one were long believed to contain traces of gold, but precise, modern methods of analysis indicate that they consist of pure native Copper, with no other significant elements.
