EH66Y4: Clinozoisite (variety clinothulite) with Grossular and Quartz
Radial aggregates of salmon pink acicular crystals. They are on a Quartz matrix, with small dodecahedral Grossular crystals. The color of this Clinozoisite is very unusual and very typical of this Mexican locality.

MB67L1: Clinozoisite with Calcite
Parallel growth of two crystals with multiple and transparent terminations, with a very deep green color. On the Clinozoisite crystals we can see small white Calcite crystals. We’ll send a copy of the analysis to the buyer.

EA97G1: Clinozoisite with Calcite and Byssolite
An exceptional prismatic crystal on matrix of this species, with Calcite and Byssolite, which one of the ends of the crystal changes to. The compositional difference between Epidote and Clinozoisite is very little. Only by an individual quantitative analysis of percent of Aluminium and Iron can determine the real specie. We will deliver to the buyer a copy of the analysis.

RF6T5: Clinozoisite with Quartz and Garnet
Radial aggregates of acicular crystals with intense pink color, a shade that is well known but uncommon for the species. They are on a matrix with Quartz and garnet (probably Grossular).
The sample is with its Folch collection card and the Burminco (George Burnham) label that we'll send to the buyer.

ND27AJ9: Clinozoisite-Epidote (Series)
A complete floater crystal with flat recrystallization surfaces at the base. It is flattened with parallel growths, rich in terminal faces, very bright, transparent and has a very intense, deep and uniform color.
The sample is from the Ignacio Hernández collection whose label we will send to the buyer.

NA6AC1: Clinozoisite-Epidote with Prehnite, Microcline and Quartz
Radial aggregates of acicular crystals whose chemical composition is between Clinozoisite (dominant) and Epidote. The crystals are implanted on a matrix partially coated by clear green Prehnite aggregates, Orthoclase and Quartz crystals. The sample is from a large famous find in 1999 at the La Saludadora Quarry.

TN18X5: Clintonite with Calcite
The sample is very representative, both for its size and the morphology of its crystals, among best-known crystallization of this rare phyllosilicate. The crystals, with a very uniform dark green color, are laminar and are embedded on a matrix of blue Calcite and granular greenish-yellow Vesuvianite. The sample was obtained in the famous 2001 find that was described in an article in Mineralogical Record.

MCR66AP2: Cobaltite
Cobaltite crystal on matrix, aerial, with well defined faces and edges, metallic luster and cubic morphology. Note the locality of origin of the piece, which is not as well known as the classic Swedish locality of Hakansboda but which, although less prolific, is one of the few localities that can be compared in quality with that of the specimens from Sweden. Comes from the Thomas P. Moore collection and we will ship it to the buyer in its original Perky box.

TFA57AN4: Cobaltite
Complete pyritohedral floater crystal of Cobaltite with deformations and fine growth striations. It is lustrous and of a good size for the species and with a very unusual crystal habit, which is why we had it analyzed, and it did indeed turn out to be Cobaltite. We will send a copy of that analysis to the buyer. The specimen comes from one of the great classical localities for the species and remains in its original Perky box from the Robert J. (Bob) Noble collection, which also contains the label stating that it was previously in the Melanson collections and before that in the French BRGM (Bureau de Recherches Géologiques et Minières).

RJ76M2: Cobaltite with Pyrrhotite
This esthetic sample shows three sharp and brilliant Cobaltite crystals, one of them with a good size, with dominant forms of the cube and pyritohedron. All are included in a massive Pyrrhotite matrix. We found that the crystals are not reattached to the matrix but are included in it in a natural way. With the specimen we will send the Folch collection card Nr. 11.165.

Group of crystals formed by short six-sided prisms and a very flattened terminal rhombohedron, with parallel vertical growths along the prism. The crystals exhibit great luster and very uniform and deep color.

Group of rhombohedral crystals with curved faces and edges. The luster is excellent but the mauve color is extraordinary, very deep and with beautiful shades and reflections.

RB27AE6: Cobaltoan Calcite
Banded growths of cobaltoan Calcite with a very intense color alternating with fine bands of white and yellowish Calcite. The sample, in spite its fine surface, hasn't been acid-etched, as its rough surfaces in most areas and the existence of easily altered carbonates proves.
The sample is from the Joaquín Folch duplicates collection, whose label we’ll send to the buyer.

EA14T0: Cobaltoan Calcite
The sample shows two different generations of cobaltoan Calcite, one of them with crystals having a very short prism with rhombohedral terminations and stalagmitic growths, and a second in which the crystals are slightly clear very well defined rhombohedrons with polycrystalline growths on their faces. The color is very intense and the crystals have small black inclusions.

EZ6Y2: Cobaltoan Calcite
A novelty at St. Marie 2013 (because of the scalenohedral crystals). Druse, on matrix, of very acute scalenohedral crystals with rhombohedral terminations. They are between transparent and translucent and have a color between deep pink and mauve, with a second generation of crystals with the same morphology, but with orange shades.
This specimen was published on the Mineralogical Record´s web page, in the ‘What’s New in the Mineral World?’ section, report #35, August 14, 2013 edition.
