EP90W2: Chalcopyrite with Siderite
Short diesphenoidal crystals of Chalcopyrite, with a false appearance of tetrahedron, with very well defined faces and edges and very bright. They are on a matrix of dark brown lenticular crystals of Siderite translucent and bright. They have some minor damages on some edges, the really minimal that we have achieved to obtain due to these samples usually are clearly broken.

Very bright and well defined scalenohedral Chalcopyrite crystal with fine striations and polycrystalline growths. It is on matrix and partially coated by globular Siderite growths.

NAT27AN7: Chalcopyrite with Sphalerite and Siderite
Group of large Chalcopyrite crystals with the typical curvatures of Panasqueira specimens, very aerial, lustrous and on matrix. Along with the Chalcopyrite there are also very sharp and lustrous Sphalerite crystals and the whole is bordered by lenticular crystals of Siderite. The upper levels of Panasqueira continue to provide surprising novelties, with specimens different from what was previously known.

Twinned disphenoidal Chalcopyrite crystals (pseudotetrahedral), very sharp, with bright luster and a brassy iridescence, on matrix, with Sphalerite crystals and small Dolomite and Quartz crystals. Of extraordinary quality for the locality. We will ship the specimen in its original Perky box from the Robert J. (Bob) Noble collection, which also contains the label.

NV27X9: Chalcopyrite with Stannite, Arsenopyrite and Muscovite
Brass-colored Chalcopyrite crystals with superficial iridescence, with slightly golden dark gray Stannite intergrowths. They are on matrix, with Arsenopyrite crystals and Muscovite coatings. We’ll send a copy of the analysis of the Stannite to the buyer.

Chalcopyrite coatings on Tetrahedrite crystals with well-defined tetrahedral and tritetrahedral forms. They are on a matrix with aerial groups of Galena crystals and white Quartz crystals. From a mine famous worldwide for the quality of its specimens, this piece stands out for the good color of the Chalcopyrite despite the passage of years, and in general, for its harmony and beauty.

A novelty at St. Marie 2012. Drusy growth, on matrix, of short disphenoidal crystals of Chalcopyrite, They have a second phase of crystallization, of granular aspect, that coats the faces of the first crystalline growth. They are with comb-shaped growths of Quartz crystals. A very representative piece of a mine that exploits polymetallic veins.

A Spanish rarity. This locality has produced some very remarkable specimens, and from the time when Carlos Pareja had set up a team to explore what could be found there, I kept this small group that has an unusual shape, both for the species and for the mine.

SV2490CXF: Chalcostibite on Quartz and with Dolomite
Spheroidal groups of small flat crystals of Chalcostibite, very sharp and lustrous, which is extraordinarily unusual in this species, on white Quartz crystals and small Dolomite crystals. A rarity of the Boldut mine, which is currently closed. This analyzed specimen comes from the collection of duplicates of Carles Curto (number 2008.65), whose label and computer file we will send to the buyer.

TC380ED: Chalcostibite with Azurite
Aggregate of elongated Chalcostibite crystals with very good terminations, rare in this type of specimen, and with well defined faces and edges. The Chalcostibite crystals are partially pseudomorphed by Azurite, which gives a very vivid color to the surfaces.

TL92AE1: Chalcostibite with Azurite
Aggregate of elongated Chalcostibite crystals with very good terminal faces, not common on this kind of sample and, in general, with very well defined faces and edges. The Chalcostibite is partially replaced by Azurite forming bright surfaces with a very vivid color.
The sample is with a label, originally from Ernesto Ossola, that we’ll send to the buyer.
