JFD180AP1: Chalcopyrite with Dolomite and Siderite
One hell of a piece (for this deposit anyway). Chalcopyrite is not exactly the most famous species from the Troya mine, but this specimen, found in the first years of exploitation, shows good sharp crystals, displaying a nice contrast with the Dolomite and the Siderite that are typical there. Of the best possible quality for this locality.

Twinned trapezohedral crystals of Chalcopyrite, very sharp and extraordinarily lustrous, on matrix, with small Fluorite and Calcite crystals. The specimen comes from the old collection of Robert-Auguste Touchon.

Disphenoidal Chalcopyrite crystals with slight curvatures on the edges, accompanied by Galena crystals with very deeply hoppered faces, and twinned Sphalerite crystals. Among the first finds in the Madan area, it comes from a French collection.

Very sharp disphenoidal crystals of Chalcopyrite with a pseudotetrahedral habit, twinned and with a superficial metallic tarnish. On matrix, with a large, very transparent and lustrous Gypsum crystal, and also Dolomite and Calcite crystals. This type of specimen was unknown until very recently at this locality.

SV90NBX: Chalcopyrite with Gypsum, Dolomite and Calcite
Very sharp bisphenoidal crystals of Chalcopyrite with a pseudotetrahedral habit, twinned and with the good color and luster characteristic of the species. They appear with Dolomite crystals embedded in a Calcite matrix and rarely with associated Gypsum crystals, as in this case. This type of specimen was unknown until this find at the locality.

TLX96AP9: Chalcopyrite with Malachite and Quartz
Twinned crystal of Chalcopyrite with the dominant forms of the trapezohedron, very sharp, lustrous and on a Quartz crystal with the typical La Gardette habit. Some crystals of Chalcopyrite from this locality, a minority, are yellow as they are not pseudomorphed by Malachite. The specimen comes from the Gérard Forquet collection (number 903).

Not so well known as the more famous Dolomite, Eugui Malachite is sporadically found, completely coating sharp crystals of Chalcopyrite.

NC12K0: Chalcopyrite with Malachite on Dolomite
Chalcopyrite crystals of very well defined faces and edges, pseudomorphed by Malachite, on a rhombohedral crystal of Dolomite whose faces have overgrowths with slight curvatures. Unusual.

EMT27ASN1: Chalcopyrite with Pyrite
A classic example of American mineralogy. Very bright skeletal and hoppered crystals of Chalcopyrite with a vivid and intense golden color, slightly iridescent with very marked triangular shapes, accompanied by small Pyrite crystals. A true 'oldie' from mines that operated from the first half of the 18th century until the mid-20th century, and from which specimens were recovered from their waste piles until 1989, when collection was prohibited.

BLH66AP4: Chalcopyrite with Pyrite (variety bravoite)
Groups of very shiny Chalcopyrite crystals with sharp crystal forms, interspersed with greyish Pyrite crystals (the bravoite variety, rich in nickel), on a Baryte matrix. The specimen is a German classic, of the best quality known from the locality, and it comes from an important European collection.

NJ56AF2: Chalcopyrite with Pyrite and Siderite
Group of Chalcopyrite crystals on matrix. They are very bright, with fine striations on their faces and they are coated by Arsenopyrite micro-crystals and lenticular Siderite crystals.

The specimen comes from a not very well known French mine, from the Alain Tuel collection (number 2-147), whose label we will send to the buyer.
