TF56V1: Cerussite with Galena
Group of flattened crystals, transparent to translucent, and neatly twinned. They are on a matrix of rough Galena. The locality is a world classic for Pyromorphite, but good samples of Cerussite from there are less common.
The sample is from the Geary Murdock collection, whose label we'll send to the buyer.

FQ11K0: Cerussite with Galena
The sample, mined in 1959, forms groups of twinned crystals from the old oxidation zone of this historic and classic Spanish locality. The matrix is basically of massive Galena and Cerussite with Limonite.

Very well defined twins of flat prismatic crystals whose color is between white and clear brown, and they are on a massive Galena matrix. We especially note that the mine is well documented on the label, which is unusual on most of the samples of the epoch.

Very well defined twins of flat prismatic crystals whose color is between white and clear brown, and they are on a massive Galena matrix. We especially note that the mine is well documented on the label, which is unusual on most of the samples of the epoch.

Butterfly and cyclic twins of well defined crystals on a massive Galena matrix. We especially note that the mine is well documented on the label, which is unusual on most of the samples of the epoch. The label notes the year of the find of the specimen - 1923.

DF86AM1: Cerussite with Galena and Dolomite
Twinned crystals with a prismatic habit, with very well defined faces and edges and excellent terminations. They are translucent, shiny, and on Galena and Dolomite matrix. A fine miniature.

SV3220NXB: Cerussite with Goethite
The best known specimens from the San Valentín Quarry are the Cerussite pseudomorphs after Anglesite, and covered by iridescent Goethite, but sometimes the cerussites are not pseudomorphs after Anglesite and sometimes they are not covered by Goethite either. This is the case here, and furthermore, although the Cerussite crystals are not very big, they are very pretty and in perfect condition. The piece is very unusual because it was in one of the large collections in that area, that of Mariano Guillén and from his collection it went to that of Miguel David Martínez with the number 887.

NJX47AO7: Cerussite with Goethite
Acicular crystals of white Cerussite with very sharp crystal forms, many of them doubly terminated, translucent, on an iridescent Goethite matrix with dominant blue and green tones and with Siderite pseudomorphs. Very different from other specimens from this locality. This piece comes from the collection of Miguel David Martínez (number 999), whose label we will send to the buyer.

SV290EFX: Cerussite with inclusions
Multitude of oriented Cerussite crystals preferentially covering the crests of a limestone matrix completely carpeted by these very dark and lustrous crystals, probably colored by Galena inclusions. The specimen comes from the collection of Michel Perraudin.

NBR27AO8: Cerussite with limonite
Twinned Cerussite crystals with very well defined crystal forms, between transparent and translucent, lustrous, and covering a stalactitic growth of limonite. Not so common in this quality from the Ojuela Mine. It comes from the Santiago Jiménez collection, which not only had specimens from Spain but also a good representation of minerals from all over the world.

NG86AM5: Cerussite with Malachite
Globular growths of microcrystalline Malachite with a silky luster and a very deep color. On a matrix of twinned white Cerussite crystals of good size for the locality. This specimen is from the Pedro Hernández collection.

SV390EFH: Cerussite with Malachite
Aggregate of elongated crystals of Cerussite, on matrix, and almost entirely coated by deep green Malachite microcrystals. The specimen comes from the collection of Michel Perraudin and was found in an old German mine that benefited from lead and zinc.

TT48AL5: Cerussite with Malachite
Group of flattened, twinned crystals, with lattice growths, colorless, transparent, with good luster and small inclusions of Malachite. Of the best quality for a historical locality, especially for its perfection since these specimens are usually very fragile, often have damage, but this piece is nevertheless perfect. The sample comes from the Dick Norris collection (no. 179) whose label, together with a previous one by Dave Bunk, we will send to the buyer.

A novelty at Ste. Marie 2010. White elongated crystals of pearly luster implanted on groups of acicular crystals of Malachite with a silky luster and a very deep and uniform color. From a recent find in Bou Beker where this association hasn’t been found before.

A novelty at Ste. Marie 2010. White elongated crystals of pearly luster in parallel growths, forming convoluted columns, implanted on groups of acicular crystals of Malachite with a silky luster and a very deep and uniform color. From a recent find in Bou Beker where this association hasn’t been found before.
This specimen was photographed and published as a novelty at the 2010 Ste. Marie Show in the magazine ‘Le Rčgne Minéral’ number 94, page 55.

Single Cerussite crystal with slightly curved faces and edges, translucent, with a rough aspect on its faces, on matrix with minor Malachite and small yellow Mimetite crystals. The sample is from the Desmond Sacco collection, whose label we’ll send to the buyer.

The tabular form to the crystals is not common in Cerussite from Toussit. The small group of well-balanced Smithsonite adds a special touch.

Tabular Cerussite crystals showing perfect cyclic twins. The color is slightly smoky, but with an excellent transparency and brilliance. On a rich dark Smithsonite crystal matrix.

An excellent miniature in which Cerussite forms cyclic twins. It has very well defined and bright faces free of damage. The paragenesis is interesting, with Smithsonite and Azurite on the matrix.

Cerussite crystals with twins of bipyramidal habit, translucent, white, with good luster, on a matrix of limonite with small, very sharp crystals of brilliant orange Wulfenite. A very old European classic that comes from the collection of Michel Perraudin.

SV230ELP: Cerussite with Wulfenite
Aggregate of single Cerussite crystals, some of them with a very marked V-twin. On matrix, bright and translucent, accompanied by small Wulfenite crystals, product of oxidation of the metallic part of the matrix, formed mainly by Galena.

EFR67AP6: Cerussite with Wulfenite
Cerussite crystal with very marked parallel growths and very sharp crystal forms, translucent, with dark tones and covered with small bipyramidal Wulfenite crystals, with brilliant luster and an intense yellow-orange color. The specimen, an old European classic of large crystal size for what is known from the locality, comes from the Michel Perraudin collection (number 303)

MRF28CD4: Cerussite with Wulfenite, Dolomite and Galena
An interesting set of secondary lead minerals from the legendary Touissit. The matrix displays ancient molds of relict cubic Galena crystals and, thanks to an area of cementation, various secondary minerals derived from the initial lead sulfide, resulting in a partial coating of cream-colored Dolomite crystals on which whitish twinned crystals of Cerussite are intergrown with remnants of dark Galena and finally, a beautiful group of lustrous Wulfenite crystals with an intense yellowish color adorning the center of the piece, where they cover an elongated Cerussite crystal, larger and with a different habit and colour than the other crystals of Cerussite on the piece. The specimen has been analyzed and we will send a copy of the analysis to the buyer.
