RQ62H8: Cassiterite with Quartz
The locality is very little known for Cassiterite. The crystals, some of them doubly terminated, are prismatic, twinned and in matrix. Their color is unusually clear and they are well-defined.

Very aerial group, on Quartz matrix, of cyclic-twinned Cassiterite crystals. They are bright and show very well defined faces and edges. The sample, as well as its mineralogical quality, is especially esthetic.

Group of twinned Cassiterite crystals, one of them clearly dominant, with sharp crystal forms, lustrous, on matrix, something not very common in specimens from this classic locality. The specimen comes from the collection of Robert-Auguste Touchon.

Group of very bright Cassiterite crystals with very visible multiple twinning, on matrix with clear Quartz crystals and partially coated by Siderite.
It was previously in the Folch collection and it probably was an exchange.

RK49K4: Cassiterite with Quartz and Siderite
Great group of flat Cassiterite crystals. They are twinned, very bright and with small, very clear, crystals of Quartz on a matrix with lenticular crystals of Siderite. On the original label is written the year 1964.

RZ26T8: Cassiterite with Quartz and Siderite
Very bright twinned crystals of Cassiterite, with neat transparency and implanted on a group of transparent Quartz crystals. We believe that this sample is not from the classic mining area of Panasqueira but from a nearby zone named “Vale da Ermida” as its appearance matches exactly the shape of the samples found there several years ago.

AD96Y6: Cassiterite with Quartz and Siderite
Group of bright Cassiterite crystals forming complex cyclic twins. They are on a matrix of transparent Quartz crystals with some rough Siderite. This sample was in the Folch duplicates collection, whose label we’ll send to the buyer. It has an added interest because it is from Vale da Ermida, a zone somewhat away from the main mining area and is currently abandoned and awash.

Twinned crystals of Cassiterite. They are translucent and bright and are on matrix, with Quartz, Dolomite and small acicular crystals of tourmaline (Schorl-Dravite)

TR96AL3: Cassiterite with Quartz, Fluorapatite and Arsenopyrite
Groups of twinned Cassiterite crystals, very sharp, shiny and translucent on the edges. On matrix, with short elongated Fluorapatite crystals of almost white color, aggregates of elongated crystals of Arsenopyrite and Quartz crystals.

RZ6G2: Cassiterite with Scheelite
The locality is very poorly-known and well crystallized samples are very scarce. In this specimen, Cassiterite forms a perfectly defined elbow twin, in a matrix very rich with Scheelite.

JFD142AO6: Cassiterite with Sphalerite, Quartz and Siderite
One hell of a Cassiterite! Very large for Panasqueira, very lustrous, and sitting well on Sphalerite crystals that are associated with Quartz crystals, one of them broken, but the others recrystallized, and with small Siderite crystals. Who said that Panasqueira cassiterites did not reach world class status?

RJ47F8: Cassiterite with Zinkenite
A group of Cassiterite twins, very typical of Cornwall and on matrix. Needle crystals of Zinkenite accompany the Cassiterite. Although the mine that it is from is not given, it is the type of specimen that is hard to find.

TPA87AN5: Catapleiite
Group of sharp Catapleiite crystals between lamellar and tabular, unusually separated from each other, with very well defined faces and edges, transparent, with bright luster and a lemon-yellow color. In addition, they are in matrix, which is rare. We will ship the specimen, from one of the great classic localities for this rare cyclosilicate, in its original Perky box from the Robert J. (Bob) Noble collection, which also contains the label.

MG47AM6: Catapleiite with Aegirine inclusions and Siderite
Very sharp Catapleiite crystal, transparent, lustrous, colorless, with inclusions of Aegirine crystals, on matrix, with rhombohedral Siderite crystals. The specimen is from the most classic locality for the species. We will send the buyer the specimen in its original perky box from the Robert J. Noble collection, which also contains the label.

Very well defined spherical growth of small dipyramidal crystals of Cavansite, on a matrix of basalt coated by crystals of Stilbite.

Group of very sharp crystals of Cavansite with a very intense color and luster and some of them doubly terminated, with four rhombohedral crystals of Calcite, transparent and with a clear yellow color. One of the few samples found with this association.

MY27V0: Cavansite with Calcite
Floater spheroidal aggregate of Cavansite crystals with a very intense color and luster, with four very acute rhombohedral crystals of Calcite that are transparent, with vivid yellow color. One of the few samples found with this association.

ED17G3: Cavansite with Calcite and Stilbite
The specimen is really aesthetic. Cavansite crystallizes as numerous spherical groups, and as some single sprays of crystals, of a very vivid and deep color. We must mention the presence of a crystal of Calcite, very aerial, on the Cavansite.

JB87E8: Cavansite with Stilbite
Unlike other Cavansites this one has thick tabular crystals that are well separated from each other and are very luminous. They are perfect and well positioned on the Stilbite matrix. Much better than many of the other Cavansites we have seen.
