Doubly terminated Smithsonite crystals, on matrix, with the classic “rice grain” morphology caused by the pronounced curvatures on the faces and edges.
The crystals are translucent white, with good luster. The specimen comes from the Miguel David Martínez collection (nº 542) whose label we will send to the buyer.

Smithsonite (variety cadmium).
TP50AH6: Smithsonite (variety cadmium)
Druse of Smithsonite crystals on matrix. They have the dominant form of a rhombohedron, with very well defined faces and edges and a soft orange color due to the presence of cadmium. This cadmian Smithsonite variety is surely the rarest found at Tsumeb.

Globular aggregates of rhombohedral Smithsonite crystals with very rounded faces and edges, its yellowish green tones displaying a predominance of the latter, with velvety appearance and satiny luster, dotted with small but very sharp scalenohedral crystals of snow-white Calcite, giving a beautiful color contrast to the specimen. Smithsonite had not been reported from this mine before, so this specimen helps to expand its paragenesis.
