EV10AL9: Twinned Diaspore with Rutile
Mostly new after the Sainte Marie 2020 Virtual Show, from a classic Turkish locality but with a different transparency and color. A twin of two crystals with different terminations, one of them with visible faces and the other with very acute polycrystalline growths. The longest crystal has a partially incomplete termination. The crystals are transparent, with good luster and abundant Rutile inclusions. They have an intense yellow-green color with focused natural light and more yellow under halogen light, and with clearly visible dichroism changing color between soft red and green.

NZ66AL0: Twinned Dolomite
Group of very sharp Dolomite crystals, rhombohedral, with interpenetration twins, between transparent and translucent, very bright luster, and on matrix. A Spanish classic that comes from the Carlos Prieto Paramio collection, whose label we will send to the buyer.

Aerial group of very sharp rhombohedral Dolomite crystals, twinned with their faces crossed by fine growth striations, colorless, clear and very bright. An excellent Spanish classic.

Group of very sharp, colorless, transparent and shiny rhombohedral Dolomite crystals with sharp interpenetration twins. A Spanish classic of excellent quality.

JFD150AO7: Twinned Dolomite
From the glorious era in which, in the 'el pozo' area, Engineer Córdoba ordered the saving of exceptional specimens. I was only 18 years old at the time and this was one of the dolomites I got. There were much better ones but, having just started in the world of mineral collecting at that time, I don't complain about my luck.

EM99AI7: Twinned Dolomite
Group of very sharp rhombohedral crystals, one of them clearly dominant. They are interpenetration twins and are transparent, very bright and have gray phantom growths. A Spanish classic really fine and of great quality. The sample is from the Daunis collection.

Sharp rhombohedral Dolomite crystals with very distinct interpenetration twins, from transparent to translucent, lustrous and colorless with the gray zoning characteristic of old Eugui Dolomites, on matrix. A great Spanish classic.

Large group of very sharp rhombohedral Dolomite crystals. Transparent, very lustrous, with geometric color zoning, bluish grey tones and rainbows. A Spanish classic, difficult to find with this size of crystals and with such quality.

Twin of two rhombohedral crystals of very well defined faces and edges, bright and translucent. The original label indicates that it was a gift from Carlos Díaz de Mauriño, from Pamplona, in 1967, to Sr. Folch.

NT89S5: Twinned Dolomite
Transparent and bright rhombohedral crystals with very well defined phantom growths in some of their faces. The interpenetration twin is specially sharp and underlined by fine horizontal striations.

The twinned Dolomites from Eugui are a real classic. While the quarry is still active good, transparent, brilliant and damage free material is rare and only appears when local collectors make an occasional find.

Nice miniature of rhombohedra, one of them very aerial, of very well defined faces and edges, with color changes between bluish-gray and white and between translucent and completely transparent. Crystals clearly show the interpenetrating twin of two rhombohedra.

Group of twinned crystals of Fluorite, with the typical deep green color of the old samples from the locality. The specimen was on Martín Oliete collection. Martín purchased it in 1976 from Bailey Minerals.

A novelty at Tucson 2010. A floater crystal with very well defined faces and edges, a very unusual shape for the species, with a very obvious twin, a very good luster and an excellent degree of transparency.

The Carlsbad twin name came from the Carlsbad locality in the Czech Republic. This Orthoclase also came from this locality and "guess what?": it is twinned by the Carlsbad law. A "type locality twin" from an old glorious European locality.
