MH96E8: Spinel with Calcite
An octahedral crystal, of good size, that is notable for its unusual color. At the same time the amount of the crystal that stands out from the marble matrix is significant and the crystal form is sharp with perfect faces and tips. Its brilliance adds that final touch. The small internal fracture near the tip, which you can only see given its transparency, does not detract from its high quality.

Group of crystals of excellent color, luster and transparency, on Calcite matrix. The main crystal clearly shows, on its upper part, the twin that is named for the species.

MM52D7: Spinel with Calcite
A good size crystal of Spinel, really red, absolutely perfect, and set well apart from the matrix of white Calcite. Everything is good = a great specimen.

MG86AJ5: Spinel with Calcite and Mica
Surficial aggregate of very sharp and bright octahedral Spinel crystals whose color is between mauve and violet. They are on a matrix with Calcite and Mica. Spinels from the Mijas area are undoubtably the best on the Iberian Peninsula.

TX86AJ0: Spinel with Clinohumite and Calcite
Octahedral Spinel crystals with very well defined faces and edges that are transparent and bright and with a uniform mauve color. They are on matrix with translucent and bright honey-colored Clinohumite crystals and white Calcite growths.
The sample is from the José Luis Vallecillo collection, Madrid.

Floater group of very sharp octahedral Spinel crystals, translucent, with good luster and an intense pink color and with small white coatings of Clintonite. Its “architecture” is great!

CBB47CD3: Spodumene
Doubly terminated floater crystal of Spodumene showing slight curvatures on some faces and edges. It is vertically twinned and has perfectly oriented growth marks. Transparent, with a very weak color that varies between green and yellow depending on the incidence of the transmitted light. An old classic, very peculiar, with its curved faces and vertical twinning. This specimen comes from the collection of duplicates of Carles Curto (number 2010.01) whose digital catalogue file we will send to the buyer. It was previously in the collection of Folch duplicates.

RT17P8: Spodumene
Excellent doubly terminated floater crystal, without cleavages and with curvatures on some faces and edges. Its color varies between very pale yellow and green. The transparency is very good in the entire crystal.

TM50T0: Spodumene
An excellent floater crystal, complete, without lateral exfoliation or damage, very transparent with very well marked parallel growths on both terminations. One of the more rare Spodumene samples from this locality in North Carolina, better known by the variety hiddenite.

ME37E9: Spodumene (Kunzite) doubly terminated
A prismatic crystal that is a neat pink color, doubly-terminated, a floater, with a complex upper termination that has a rough look due to the recrystallization, and the bottom end has inclined faces. It is very clearly a twin on a plane that is parallel to the front face. There is also some associated Schorl. Really cute.

A floater crystal of Spodumene of irregular shape, with parallel growths, an excellent degree of transparency and good color and luster. We note its locality, which was an early name for what is now hiddenite.

Complete Spodumene floater crystal (kunzite variety) with the arrow-shaped twin characteristic for this type of specimen, translucent with a quite intense pink color. The spodumenes from this locality are legendary since at the time they were a reference for the species, competing with the Brazilian ones.
