TA97Y3: Sphalerite with Galena and Rhodochrosite
Groups of complex Sphalerite crystals that are translucent, have a honey color and are partially coated by small cuboctahedral Galena crystals. On matrix, with groups of rhombohedral Rhodochrosite crystals. Very elegant.

TZ46H6: Sphalerite with Galena and Rhodochrosite
A group of twinned crystals with sharp faces and edges. They have orangish color and an excellent luster. Crystals are partially covered by concretions of Rhodochrosite. There is also some minor Galena on the matrix.

Polysynthetic growths of crystals of Sphalerite with very well defined faces and edges, with very bright cuboctahedral crystals of Galena, small laminar crystals of Siderite and cubic crystals of Fluorite.
The sample, complete and free of damage, is from the collection of James Catmur (num. B484), whose label we’ll send to the buyer of the piece.

EM26M2: Sphalerite with Galena, Chalcopyrite and Quartz
In this excellent sample, Sphalerite crystals are showing extremely defined crystalline forms, more than usual for the species. Tetrahedral faces are dominant but other accessory faces are perfectly visible. The Sphalerite crystals are very aerials on a Quartz crystal-rich matrix also with Chalcopyrite and Galena crystals.
This specimen has been photographed and published as a novelty at the 2008 Ste. Marie Show in the magazine Le Règne Minéral number 82 (July-August 2008), page 82.

Monumental group of twinned Sphalerite crystals with sharp crystal forms, lustrous, on matrix, with cubo-octahedral Galena crystals, white rhombohedral Dolomite crystals and small Quartz crystals (citrine variety). The specimen comes from the collection of José Luis Vallecillo from Madrid, and the Citrine variety Quartz gives it a different aspect from the usual specimens from this locality.

ND10X7: Sphalerite with Galena, Quartz and Calcite
Aggregates of complex equant crystals, translucent, bright, and with a very deep dark honey color. On matrix, with Calcite and small Quartz crystals. It has been discovered in a recent find at an abandoned mine, well known for Calcite and Baryte and now offering these Sphalerite samples of very much better quality than all previously known.

Group of complex crystals in which we clearly note the triangular faces of the tetrahedron with a lot of echelons. On the matrix of Pyrite, very rich with small Quartz crystals, also appear some cubic crystals of Galena.

EPR87AQ1: Sphalerite with Marcasite and Chalcopyrite
Sphalerite crystals with different growth zones, somewhat more transparent and colored inside the crystal and black and polycrystalline on the surface. In matrix, with very sharp and lustrous crystals of Marcasite and iridescent Chalcopyrite on the base. The specimen comes from a 2023 find in the Bou Nahas Mine where such large and sharp crystals of Sphalerite had not so far been reported.

NB12AA4: Sphalerite with Marcasite and Pyrite
Aggregate of Sphalerite crystals with very well defined faces and edges, with a deep black color and very well marked growth striations. The aggregate has a superficial Pyrite patina and small leafy Muscovite growths on the back. Current mining works on the 0 level at Panasqueira are characterized by good samples of species relatively rare in other areas and levels.

NB26AK9: Sphalerite with Pyrite
Outstanding matrix group of Sphalerite crystals of complex habit, translucent and intense orange. A good specimen from a well known Canadian locality but one from which Sphalerite of good quality for collections is rare.

RX96P8: Sphalerite with Pyrite and Marcasite
From a classic American locality. The Sphalerite crystals are complex with deep red color and good transparency. These crystals were named "Ruby Jack". They are implanted on a very thin matrix and are partially coated by sharp, well defined, crystals of Marcasite. Folch's records indicate that the sample was acquired in Tucson in 1959.

TC260ED: Sphalerite with Pyrite and Pyrite after Pyrrhotite
Twinned crystal of Sphalerite (variety marmatite) on matrix with very well defined faces and edges. It occurs with Pyrite crystals with a deformed cubic habit and with other Pyrites that are pseudomorphs after hexagonal Pyrrhotite crystals.

EA63X3: Sphalerite with Pyrite and Quartz
Sharp Sphalerite crystals with the dominant and very well defined form of the tetrahedron. They are deep black, have an excellent luster, and are on a matrix with very bright and deeply striated Pyrite crystals. They are partially coated by small Quartz crystals.

EG36T6: Sphalerite with Pyrite and Quartz
Excellent quality for this not so well- known locality. The crystals of Sphalerite have polycrystalline growths, well developed tetrahedral faces, they are intermingled with finely striated Pyrite and they are partially coated by Quartz crystals.

EH96T6: Sphalerite with Pyrite and Quartz
Among the best for this not so well-known locality. Twinned tetrahedral crystals of Sphalerite, one of them clearly dominant, with parallel polycrystalline growths, intermingled with finely striated Pyrite and partially coated by Quartz crystals.

Twinned Sphalerite crystals with the dominant forms of the tetrahedron, translucent and of orange color, on matrix, with spheroidal aggregates of Pyrite crystals, groups of white Calcite crystals and small groups of Quartz crystals.

SV290NMP: Sphalerite with Quartz
Group of very sharp Sphalerite crystals, with the crystal faces perfectly defined and very lustrous. With small whitish Quartz crystals in distinct color contrast. Coming from a current urban area in northern Spain, this type of specimen is very difficult to obtain nowadays and even less with this quality.

MV6AJ0: Sphalerite with Quartz
A novelty at Munich 2018. This is one of the first mentions of Sphalerite as a collectible species at Aït Ahmane. It is a druse of not so well defined complex but translucent and bright crystals with a very deep honey color. They are with small Quartz crystals.
