SV660NCA: Sphalerite with Dolomite
Very marked polycrystalline growth of complex Sphalerite crystals with curvatures and with smooth tetrahedron forms. The crystals, between transparent and translucent, have a very deep and uniform honey color, and grew on and between sharp white crystals of Dolomite on a limestone matrix. From a classic Spanish mine for Sphalerite, located in a spectacular setting next to Los Picos de Europa National Park, inaccessible already for many years since the galleries were flooded.

TBR92AP8: Sphalerite with Dolomite
Very aerial group of complex Sphalerite crystals, translucent, with very good luster and a very deep and uniform reddish color, on matrix, with white rhombohedral Dolomite crystals. The specimen comes from the Ignacio Gaspar Sintes collection (number BLD-11) and was previously in that of Eugeni Bareche (number 2023).

SV740NBB: Sphalerite with Dolomite

NM93AE6: Sphalerite with Dolomite
An aggregate of complex Sphalerite crystals with curved faces, some smooth and others with polycrystalline growths. These crystals, between transparent and translucent, are very bright, have a very dense, deep and uniform honey color and are partially coated by white Dolomite rhombohedra.

TVA94CD4: Sphalerite with Dolomite
Group of perfectly sharp and profiled Sphalerite crystals with complex crystallography and twinning, with the characteristic honeyed color, transparent, implanted on a rock matrix, on very sharp snow-white Dolomite crystals. The specimen comes from a classic Spanish mine for Sphalerite, located in a spectacular landscape next to the Picos de Europa National Park, and it has been inaccessible for many years due to the galleries being flooded. From the collection of Andrés Jiménez Shelly who bought it years ago from Jordi Fabre.

Group of complex crystals of Sphalerite, very rich in faces and with curvatures on the faces and edges, transparent, very lustrous, intense reddish orange and on a matrix partially coated with Dolomite. A Spanish classic that comes from the collection of Carlos González Bargueño, whose label we will send to the buyer.

Druse of complex Sphalerite crystals that are very rich in shapes, from transparent to translucent, with good luster and a very intense and vivid caramel color, coated with white Dolomite crystals. A Spanish classic of good size and quality.

Group of complex Sphalerite crystals, large for the locality, translucent, with very good luster and a very deep and uniform reddish color, on matrix, with white rhombohedral Dolomite crystals. This extraordinary specimen comes from the Ignacio Gaspar Sintes collection (number BLD-19) and was previously in Raúl Sanabria Orellana's.

NK57K9: Sphalerite with Dolomite
An excellent miniature of sharp faces and edges, with a very well defined twin. Excellent transparency, luster and color, which resembles honey. Crystals are partially covered by white Dolomite.
The specimen has been reviewed and published in the magazine ‘Lapis’ on page 23, volume 36, number 7-8, July-August 2011 and on the Mineralogical Record´s web page, in the ‘What's New’ section of the March 13, 2008 edition.

Group of crystals with very well defined faces and edges, very bright, transparent, and its color is yellow with very well defined greenish shades. The color is very unusual and different from the more common yellow or orange on most of the samples from this locality.

Group of Sphalerite crystals with marked curvatures on faces and edges. They are transparent, have an intense honey color and are on white Dolomite crystals on a rocky matrix. Famous worldwide for their color and transparency, this sample is quite different from other “more classic” Sphalerites from Áliva.
