Group of Sphalerite crystals with well defined faces and edges, some of them with curvatures, on a white Baryte matrix formed by tabular crystals, some of them with a good size. An uncommon mineral association for this mine, that closed long time ago. It is flooded and collapsed, and so it is quite impossible to obtain specimens there.

TP91AI3: Sphalerite (variety cleiophane) with Calcite
Group of complex Sphalerite crystals on a Calcite matrix. They are transparent, extraordinarily bright and have the intense greenish color that characterizes the cleiophane variety. Of the best quality for the locality.

Very aerial aggregate, on matrix, of Sphalerite crystals with rounded and poorly defined faces. The crystals are translucent, with a clear yellow color, and with small but very sharp Arsenopyrite crystals.

A novelty at the 2020 Munich Virtual show. Groups of complex Sphalerite crystals with equant habit and with very well defined faces and edges, translucent, lustrous, on a matrix covered by rhombohedral Dolomite crystals with a pale pink color. This material was practically unknown until now.

Sharp Sphalerite crystal, with well defined crystal forms and a very visible twin plane in front, with bright luster and vivid red internal reflections, on a matrix of small Quartz crystals. We will ship the specimen in its original Perky box from the Robert J. Noble collection, which also contains the label, which shows that it was previously in the Melanson collection.

TGH47AN5: Sphalerite with 'Apophyllite', Quartz and Siderite
Sphalerite crystals, one of them clearly dominant, with very well defined faces and edges, polycrystalline growths and a very distinct spinel-law twin. It is on matrix, with coatings of 'Apophyllite', lenticular crystals of Siderite and small crystals of Quartz. It comes from a mine practically unknown until now, and from which there were no other similar specimens of this quality.

These came out for a brief period and then were never seen again. Their luster and sharpness are of high quality, but the color is not very attractive... until they are illuminated with an intense light and then, what color!

Group of complex twinned Sphalerite crystals, on matrix, with curvatures on the faces and edges, translucent, lustrous, and with an excellent toasted honey color, partially covered by small white lamellar crystals of Baryte. The mine has been flooded for a long time and is currently completely inaccessible.

Group of complex crystals of Sphalerite. They are complex, twinned, translucent and have and attractive dark honey color. The matrix is a group of laminar crystals of transparent Baryte covered by small white Quartz crystals. A very esthetic piece.

Group of complex equant crystals of Sphalerite, very transparent and lustrous, with an intense color and a lively interior "fire". Large for the deposit and on a matrix of lenticular crystals of Siderite with a very light cream color, and twinned Bournonite crystals. This specimen comes from the Alain Martaud collection, whose label we will send to the buyer.

Druse of complex Sphalerite crystals, very rich with faces, clearly twinned and with very well defined forms. They are translucent, very bright, have a very deep color and are on a rocky matrix with small scalenohedral Calcite crystals. An American classic, typical of past samples from the Elmwood mine.

SV2220TFB: Sphalerite with Calcite
Aggregate of complex twinned crystals of Sphalerite of deep black color, great luster, and with perfectly defined faces and edges with marked striations on some of the crystal faces and some dissolution figures, and partially coated by a multitude of whitish Calcite crystals in aggregates forming rosettes in strong color contrast. The Trepča mining complex is one of the largest polymetallic deposits in the world and for many years has yielded exceptional pieces of Sphalerite, as well as various combinations of sulfides and carbonates as shown in this specimen, from the ex-Ferat Voca collection.

TVM37ASN1: Sphalerite with Calcite
A floater crystal of Sphalerite with polycrystalline growths and complex twins of uniform toasted honey color with very marked reddish reflections. Very clean and with excellent transparency, accompanied by snow-white scalenohedral Calcite crystals in clear color contrast. The specimen, which is beautiful both in the front and the back, comes from the collection of Nacho Gaspar (number BLD-16), whose record will be sent to the buyer of the piece.

New at Ste. Marie 2022 Twinned Sphalerite crystals, more isolated than usual, sharp and with very well defined faces and edges, between translucent and transparent, lustrous and very intense reddish, on matrix, with small white Calcite crystals.

EQR28CD3: Sphalerite with Calcite
These were new at Sainte Marie 2022. Twinned Sphalerite crystals, more isolated than usual, sharp and with very well-defined faces and edges, between translucent and transparent, lustrous and intense red with yellow tones. On matrix, with small white Calcite crystals and they somewhat resemble those from Áliva in color, although their crystallography is different. Extremely perfect without the slightest damage or abrasion. It was an occasional discovery from which nothing further has been heard, and no specimens like these are seen anymore.
