Parallel growth of really transparent and deep smoky color Quartz crystals. The “gwindel” structure is easily seen. The specimen base is totally recrystallized, up to the point to preserve the full transparency.

NJ56K1: Smoky Quartz with Albite
The crystal is smoky on its base and it has a neat phantom growth in its clearer termination. Near the base of the crystal there are small fragments of Albite matrix. The crystal is from the Massabé Quarry, where is possible to find some specimens yet.

Group of crystals, one of them clearly dominant, with a very short prism, very well marked window growths on rhombohedron faces and a particularly intense glassy luster. Good samples from the Grant Quarry, aside from their scarcity, are specially appreciated by advanced collectors due to their high quality, and the neat inner forms of growth and dissolution.

Group of crystals, one of them clearly dominant, with window growths on rhombohedron faces and a particularly intense luster, well known as "glassy". The good samples from Grant Quarry, aside from their scarcity, are specially appreciated by advanced collectors due to their quality, and the neat inner forms of growth and dissolution.

TE89J0: Smoky Quartz with Calcite
An unusual specimen from a not so usual locality. The transparency and color of this Quartz scepter are excellent. Some negative faces appear on the termination and also as inclusions, adding interest to the piece. The specimen is a floater, partially covered by small brownish Calcite crystals. Considering the typical quality level of specimens from this locality we can consider this one among the best.

Splendid specimen, very esthetic and of high quality. It is a group of prismatic crystals of excellent color, very transparent and with Chlorite inclusions in the terminal faces.

Parallel growths of flattened, transparent and extraordinarily bright crystals, with very well marked phantom growths and partially coated by chlorite. The words “Archi top” (super-good), written by Emringer on the back on the label, give us an idea about the real quality of the sample.

RR66P1: Smoky Quartz with Chlorite and amphibole
Group of Quartz crystals of excellent brilliance, transparency and color, very deep. Some of the faces selectively have inclusions of Chlorite and, on the base, there also are fibrous aggregates of an indeterminate amphibole, probably Actinolite (Byssolite).

TA99Y9: Smoky Quartz with Chlorite and Feldspar
Very aerial group of oriented smoky Quartz crystals. They are transparent, very bright and have small Feldspar crystals and Chlorite on the base of the aggregate. One of the crystals shows, very visible, the Dauphiné twin law. An excellent Alpine classic.

TF71K4: Smoky Quartz with Feldspar
Group of two flat, transparent and doubly terminated Quartz crystals on a matrix of Feldspar crystals, probably Orthoclase. The locality is uncommon.
The matrix has, on its backside, a fissure recemented by Quartz but also repaired (or consolidated). This circumstance is noted on the label from the Bob Jones collection, that we'll send with the specimen.

TP92L0: Smoky Quartz with inclusions and Chlorite
An interesting novelty of Tucson 2008 due to the quality and locality. Group of deep smoky Quartz crystals, one of them clearly dominant and partially doubly terminated, with well defined faces and edges. Crystals are transparent with several inclusions. We particularly like one of the inclusions, located at the top of the main Quartz crystal, of snowy well defined white globular crystals, whose identity we can’t say.

RA9V1: Smoky Quartz with inclusions, Microcline and Albite (pericline)
From a classic Spanish locality. Group of translucent crystals of Quartz slightly smoky, with phantom growths, very well defined faces and edges, and on a matrix of Microcline and Albite (variety pericline) crystals.
The handwritten label of the Folch collection that we'll send to the buyer notes that it was collected by Folch himself in 1917.

RL11I0: Smoky Quartz with Microcline and Albite
The crystals have classic forms and they are very well grown and have very well defined faces and edges. They contrast with the matrix of Microcline on which white Albite has grown.

NQ66W4: Smoky Quartz with Microcline and Albite
Single crystal of very deep colored smoky Quartz. It is transparent and bright and it is on a small matrix of Microcline and Albite, with leafy growths of Muscovite. The crystal shows a notable phantom growth at its termination.

Aggregate of very sharp octahedral Fluorite crystals with abundant inclusions. They are on a group of smoky Quartz crystals, with small cubic Pyrite crystals. It is currently very difficult to obtain good samples from this locality.
