Botryoidal growths on a limonite matrix of crystalline surfaces with a clear yellow color with slightly greenish shades and an intense silky luster. We especially note the uniform quality of the Smithsonite, very rare in a sample of this size.

Spherulitic growths, more isolated than usual on this kind of samples, bright, whose color varies between grayish-blue and white and strongly contrasts with the dark limonite matrix.

Spheroidal growths, on matrix, of small, green and very bright Smithsonite crystals. The sample is from an old find at Touissit, where Smithsonite is an infrequent species.

FH38: Smithsonite
Rich Smithsonite pretty well crystallized. Its matrix is totally covered by the Smithsonite, and the crystals are not as compact as the photo would suggest.

Isolated rhombohedral crystal, a very infrequent case in Tsumeb, with very well defined faces and edges, bright, with colored inclusions and very aerial on a metallic matrix coated by the same Smithsonite. We’ll send a copy of the analysis.

Crystal, on matrix, with very well defined faces and edges, unusually elongated for the species and formed by a ditrigonal prism and an acute terminal rhombohedron. We specially note the degree of transparency, rare with Smithsonite crystals.

Groups and isolated rhombohedral crystals of Smithsonite, yellow and shiny, that occupy a vug on a rocky matrix. A note on the label says it was acquired by Sr. Salada, July 25, 1973.

RG47V5: Smithsonite
Group of crystals with very well defined faces and edges on which the forms of the rhombohedron are dominant. The crystals are translucent, with a clear cream color and have considerable size for the locality.
The sample is with a label and the collection card that we'll send to the buyer.

AE27M4: Smithsonite
Excellent miniature. Well defined Smithsonite crystal with very elongated prism faces, very rare in Tsumeb crystals. The crystal is very transparent and esthetically implanted on a metallic matrix. This piece is from the Anne Voileau collection, as we can read in the Jordi Fabre handwritten note on the original label.

Clear yellow crystal formed by a ditrigonal prism and a very acute terminal rhombohedron. The termination below, even not being especially defined, is complete.

Group of rhombohedral crystals of good size, with very well defined faces and edges, slightly pinkish and on matrix. A classic.

Greenish-yellow stalactitic growth of silky luster, whose nucleus is filled by an unidentified white mineral. On the tip of the piece there is a small circular area, smooth, completely natural.

ML99R8: Smithsonite
Crystals of Smithsonite of a considerable size, with the single form of a relatively acute rhombohedron with very well defined faces and edges, and with phantom growths and small red inclusions of Hematite. Crystals are coating a cavernous matrix partially coated by Quartz.

An excellent specimen, very rich in rhombohedral crystals of good color.
The sample was valued for the first time in 1973 and it is with a label of Albert Salada, from Aiguafreda, Barcelona, that we’ll send to the buyer.

A rare variety of Smithsonite. The color, brightness and sharpness of crystals are excellent, and also its position on the matrix.

TB37AI6: Smithsonite (variety cadmium)
The Cadmium-rich Smithsonite variety is an uncommon find at Tsumeb so it is a pleasure to be able to photograph this druse of rhombohedral crystals with very well defined faces and edges and displaying a delicate orange color, due to the presence of Cadmium.

TX92AJ3: Smithsonite (variety cadmium)
Aggregate on a Galena matrix of rhombohedral crystals with very well defined faces and edges and slight curvatures, with neat and very well marked geometrical zoning. They are very bright with a very intense yellow color, slightly orange. The sample is the cadmium rich variety, the rarest by far.

EG82: Smithsonite (variety cadmium)
Cadmium-rich Smithsonite, displaying very well with its hook appearance and its delicate orange color, due to the presence of Cadmium. An uncommon find in Tsumeb.

ME99V0: Smithsonite (variety cadmium)
Aggregate of acute rhombohedral crystals with very well defined faces and edges, and with neat and very well marked geometrical zoning. They are a very bright and with very intense yellow color that corresponds to the cadmian variety of this species.

TP50AH6: Smithsonite (variety Cd-rich smithsonite)
Druse of Smithsonite crystals on matrix. They have the dominant form of a rhombohedron, with very well defined faces and edges and a soft orange color due to the presence of cadmium. This cadmian Smithsonite variety is surely the rarest found at Tsumeb.
