TR14Z9: Scheelite with Wollastonite, Epidote and Amphibole
Dipyramidal translucent Scheelite crystals, very rich in faces, with a very clear green color. They are on matrix, with white Wollastonite and Epidote crystals. The Scheelite is intensely fluorescent under a short wave ultraviolet lamp. Little or nothing of this has been previously seen, the Scheelite from this locality can be considered as a kind of novelty in the mineral world.

EX92M2: Schiavinatoite with Elbaite, Danburite and smoky Quartz
Extraordinary parallel and well defined crystal growth of this extremely rare borate. In the same sample the Schiavinatoite is accompanied by Elbaite (Rubellite), Danburite and smoky Quartz. The specimen is from a recent find (2008) in the same region as the Type Locality.

RB46L3: Scholzite
Classic specimen of Scholzite that could come from the last 1960s find. Sprays of white acicular crystals in a closed vug, with some inclusions of clay and on a cavernous Dolomite matrix. Specimens of this rare hydrated calcium and zinc phosphate are scarce.

NA97AA6: Scholzite
Sprays of lustrous, translucent white, acicular Scholzite crystals on limonite matrix. An excellent specimen of this rare zinc phosphate from the locality that has furnished the best specimens of the species, currently very difficult to obtain. As the pedigree enhances the specimen’s value, we will send the original A. L. McGuinness label to the buyer.

Floater group of Schorl crystals, one of them dominant. The brilliant crystals have an equant habit reminiscent of garnets due to their short prism faces. We will ship the specimen in its original Perky box from the Robert J. Noble collection, which also contains the label.

TRF51AO8: Schorl
Partially doubly terminated Schorl crystal, with a geometric contact on the rest of the base. With very sharp crystal forms and terminations that are very rich in faces, it is deep black in color and very lustrous. The specimen has been analyzed and we will send a copy of the analysis to the buyer.

HM90D: Schorl
Elongated Schorl crystal with a very well defined termination. The specimen, coming from the Daunis collection, which in the 70-80s was a reference for local field collectors especially for Catalan localities, is a classic of the mineralogy of this region. It comes from the Cap de Creus an area currently closed to mineral collecting.

TF63J3: Schorl
Curious prismatic crystal, naturally broken and rehealed in several places, with numerous curvatures and crystalline fibrous shaped sutures. The quarry from which the sample came is not well known and, probably it has been recently opened.

TV46J3: Schorl
A group of prismatic, naturally broken and rehealed, crystals. They have abundant curvatures and crystalline fibrous shaped sutures. Crystals are doubly terminated, with very different terminations. On one of the tips appear well defined and bright rhombohedron faces, on the other it finishes with a flat rough pedion. The quarry from which the sample came is not well known and, probably it has been recently opened.

Two Schorl crystals in parallel growth, doubly terminated, with excellent terminations, very lustrous and implanted in a group of transparent and lustrous quartz crystals that are also doubly terminated.

TG13AJ8: Schorl on Quartz
Very aerial and doubly terminated Schorl crystals formed by a short prism and terminal flat rhombohedral faces. They are very bright and are on matrix with small Quartz crystals. Sculptural, extraordinarily esthetic.

AD60M9: Schorl with Albite and Feldspar
A Schorl crystal of very well defined faces and edges with an excellent rhombohedral termination. It is on matrix and has associated Albite and a crystals of an unidentified Feldspar, probably Orthoclase.

TJ66H9: Schorl with Beryl (Aquamarine)
We especially note, on the same specimen, the coincidence of a prismatic crystal of Schorl with two crystals of Beryl (Aquamarine) on a matrix of Feldspar, probably Orthoclase.

TP90S5: Schorl with Beryl (Aquamarine)
Crystals of Schorl formed by a single prism, a ditrigonal prism and the terminal faces of a rhombohedron. These faces are polycrystalline and partially skeletal, the walls of the edges being very well marked. The Schorl is with intense blue crystals of Beryl (Aquamarine), very transparent and bright.

A textbook example of morphological perfection. The Schorl crystal has good development in all directions and at the top it shows a richness of faces which embellishes it even more, with the added white Feldspar at the base, which gives it contrast.
