Globular growths of Rhodochrosite, on matrix, with a silky luster and an intense reddish pink color. It is associated with black Sphalerite in lamellar crystals.
The specimen comes from a classic Japanese deposit that, like many others in that country, was scarcely disclosed until its rhodochrosites became famous when they reached the international market.
