A pair Quartz crystals, one of them clearly dominant, bright, translucent, with a smoky phantom growth and with a small Microcline matrix. The sample is from a very uncommon Catalan locality and it is one of the best Quartz samples we know from there.

Very well defined scepter growth whose base is a smoky crystal, with a very deep color, capped by a sharp crystal with a short prism and translucent with many inclusions. Because of a neat irregular growth on the back it is possible to see the termination of the dark smoky stem.

One can see different crystals that have grown in various directions. To me it looks like it is the very complex crystallization that gives the specimen so many faces, which means that any movement creates numerous reflections. It is a very original floater with zones of smoky color and multi-colored reflection from its interior.

Very sharp prismatic smoky Quartz crystal. The specimen shows rhombohedral oscillatory faces with inclusions in the lower crystal, partially recrystallized. Excellent transparency, brilliance and deep and uniform smoky tone. This sample comes from a smoky Quartz classic locality, but not one well-known by mineral collectors.
