Parallel growth of two prismatic, doubly-terminated crystals. They are well developed, of an intense color and simple forms, growing as a scepter on a little matrix of white Quartz.

EE89AL3: Quartz (variety amethyst)
Group of Quartz crystals (variety amethyst) transparent and bright. The color is selectively distributed, with the prism faces being practically colorless, slightly reddish colors on the pyramidal faces, and intense violet concentrated mainly around the terminal edges. The specimen comes from a classic American locality.

Large lenticular Calcite crystal, partially dissolved, covered and replaced almost entirely by Quartz crystals (variety amethyst), with dark inclusions of probably Hematite, on the edges of the Calcite. Different.
