A Spanish novelty. In a vug mainly formed by altered Chalcopyrite and Quartz are disposed groups of fibrous Malachite with a brilliant velvet aspect that contrasts with the matrix. Excellent miniature.

Curious distribution of primary Malachite crystals in small parallel groups of sharp, elongated and very intense and deep colored crystals. The primary Malachite is very rare at this locality.

Malachite Druse of very well defined primary Malachite crystals that are rich with polycrystalline growths that are bright and have a very deep color. We note that, curiously, the Congo is not well known for its primary Malachite specimens.
The sample is from the A.J. & S. Koster collections and, previously, it was in the Gilbert Gauthier collection. We will send the labels of the two collections to the buyer.

Colorful combination of Malachite-Azurite covering Fluorite. From this locality a few not that bad yellow Fluorites have come onto the market from time to time. But once in a while they are covered by Malachite-Azurite, as this case, and even more exceptionally, the whole specimen is as esthetic as this one.
