Fluorapatite with Prehnite.
MZ98AG3: Fluorapatite with Prehnite
A novelty at Munich 2017. Elongated Fluorapatite crystal, translucent, with a very bright upper pinacoid and the lower part recrystallized and with a seam of growth at the middle of the prism. The crystal has an unusual genesis, being in a micro-crystalline Prehnite nodule. Another aspect to note, it closely remains a Tourmaline because it is polychromic, mainly pink and with a green termination.
The specimen has been reviewed, photographed and published as a Munich 2017 new discovery in the magazine ‘Mineralogical Record’ on page 335 in the volume 49, number 2

Fluorapatite with Quartz and Muscovite.
NP90AG2: Fluorapatite with Quartz and Muscovite
The upper levels of the great classic mine of Panasqueira are now producing very good specimens. We have gone from a period of scarcity to the current wealth, but in my opinion we are in a transitory period that may end when the mine goes to different areas. So far several pieces as attractive as this zoned crystal of Fluorapatite have been recovered, isolated and well placed on its matrix of Quartz and Muscovite.
