Fluorapatite crystals, one of them clearly dominant, very rich in faces, transparent and very bright with very well defined faces and edges and implanted on a single Ferberite crystal partially coated by Siderite and Muscovite. Both the color and the crystallographic shape of the Fluorapatite are different than usual for this mine.

A high level quality specimen. Huge, brilliant, sharp and intense green group of Fluorapatite crystals, standing free on their Mica matrix. The crystals are complete on all sides without any kind of damages. A specimen from the past, when we still had the possibility of getting fine Fluorapatite. There is a nice history to this specimen too: it was traded by Martin with an old Spanish dealer for a painting.

Fluorapatite with Mica, Siderite and Chalcopyrite.
NM40E2: Fluorapatite with Mica, Siderite and Chalcopyrite
A perfect, floater Fluorapatite, with the base of the crystal healed. It is a nice intense blue-violet color, which is very sought after and difficult to find. On the rear edges of the crystal you can see areas of re-crystallization on which small amounts of Mica, Siderite and Chalcopyrite have formed. A really great specimen.

Very aerial aggregate of bright tabular crystals that have very well marked faces of a flat dypyramid, strong color zoning, darker on terminal faces and clearer on the dipyramid and prism, forming the “steer eye” as it is popularly known in Panasqueira. The piece is a complete floater and is especially elegant due to the esthetic growth of the group on the matrix of Muscovite. It is from one of the last great finds in Panasqueira, the year 2003.
