Tabular crystal with a well developed very short prism, the pinacoid and a flat pyramid. It is transparent, very bright with a color between green and golden and it’s implanted on a rocky matrix with leafy Muscovite aggregates.

Doubly terminated Fluorapatite crystals with polycrystalline terminations. It is on matrix, with twinned, very bright and with very deep colored Lazulite crystals and small Quartz crystals. An unusual association on a sample with very good quality.

A high level quality specimen. Huge, brilliant, sharp and intense green group of Fluorapatite crystals, standing free on their Mica matrix. The crystals are complete on all sides without any kind of damages. A specimen from the past, when we still had the possibility of getting fine Fluorapatite. There is a nice history to this specimen too: it was traded by Martin with an old Spanish dealer for a painting.

NM40E2: Fluorapatite with Mica, Siderite and Chalcopyrite
A perfect, floater Fluorapatite, with the base of the crystal healed. It is a nice intense blue-violet color, which is very sought after and difficult to find. On the rear edges of the crystal you can see areas of re-crystallization on which small amounts of Mica, Siderite and Chalcopyrite have formed. A really great specimen.

This sample is a rarity. A very curious combination in one piece of green and blue to violet Fluorapatite crystals. With some slight pyramidal faces less transparent than the prism faces. Crystals are on a matrix.

MJ87Q6: Fluorapatite with Muscovite, Quartz and Dolomite
Very aerial aggregate of bright tabular crystals that have very well marked faces of a flat dypyramid, strong color zoning, darker on terminal faces and clearer on the dipyramid and prism, forming the “steer eye” as it is popularly known in Panasqueira. The piece is a complete floater and is especially elegant due to the esthetic growth of the group on the matrix of Muscovite. It is from one of the last great finds in Panasqueira, the year 2003.

MZ98AG3: Fluorapatite with Prehnite
A novelty at Munich 2017. Elongated Fluorapatite crystal, translucent, with a very bright upper pinacoid and the lower part recrystallized and with a seam of growth at the middle of the prism. The crystal has an unusual genesis, being in a micro-crystalline Prehnite nodule. Another aspect to note, it closely remains a Tourmaline because it is polychromic, mainly pink and with a green termination.
The specimen has been reviewed, photographed and published as a Munich 2017 new discovery in the magazine ‘Mineralogical Record’ on page 335 in the volume 49, number 2

Group of very bright translucent crystals, some of them doubly terminated, with an intense clear blue color. The have the dominant forms of a prism and the pinacoid and less developed but clearly visible pyramidal faces. The aggregate is partially coated by Siderite, Muscovite and small cubic Pyrite crystals. A classic from a private collection and slightly different than more recent samples.

Aggregate of tabular Fluorapatite crystals that are very bright, with a light green color, a very well defined white geometric zone and bordered by lenticular Siderite crystals that completely coat the back of the sample. Partially coated by very sharp Arsenopyrite crystals and small Muscovite aggregates, this sample is a classic that comes with a label of the Richard Shupe collection and an old label (1996) of Fabre Minerals.
