Marie 2022 Disphenoidal Chalcopyrite crystal with very well defined faces and edges, fine polycrystalline growths, good luster and intense yellow color, more vivid than what is usually seen from La Gardette, and of considerable size. Accompanied on its rear by transparent and bright Quartz crystals with the typical habit of the locality. The specimen comes from finds made between 2018 and 2019

Spheroidal aggregates of very shiny Chalcopyrite crystals on a matrix formed by a growth of Calcite crystals in two phases: the first as darker scalenohedral crystals, and the second in the form of coatings of small clearer crystals. On the back, crystals of Chalcopyrite cover practically the entire piece. Comes from a mine which exploits a deposit rich in copper and molybdenum.

Very sharp bisphenoidal crystals of Chalcopyrite with a pseudotetrahedral habit, twinned and with the good color and luster characteristic of the species. They appear with Dolomite crystals embedded in a matrix of Calcite. This type of specimen was unknown at the locality until this find.

The sample has been sawed on the base to reduce the matrix. This kind of Chalcopyrite was not known at the locality until now.
