Brochantite.
EB48AE3: Brochantite
A novelty at Munich 2016. Until now a poorly known mine, the Brochantite forms sprays of finely acicular crystals with a very intense silky luster and a very vivid color and are on a Quartz (variety chalcedony) matrix.
Los Azules Mine, Quebrada San Miguel, Copiapó Province, Atacama Region  Chile (11-12/2015)
Specimen size: 9.4 × 6.5 × 6.9 cm = 3.7” × 2.6” × 2.7”

Brochantite.
TR88AI9: Brochantite
Brochantite specimens from Milpillas have won a well-deserved fame for their excellent quality. In this case, the idiomorphic crystals are elongated, with sharp faces and edges and a very deep green color; the matrix is partially coated by a later generation of brochantite, showing pale green fibrous crystals with satiny luster. In my opinion this locality offers the world’s best Brochantite as judged by crystal size and sharpness, deep color and high luster.
Milpillas Mine, Cuitaca, Municipio Santa Cruz, Sonora  Mexico (01/2015)
Specimen size: 6.2 × 5.4 × 2.6 cm = 2.4” × 2.1” × 1.0”

Main crystal size: 1 × 0.3 cm = 0.4” × 0.1”

Price: Euro:360 / US$397 / Yen:43180 / AUD$580
Brochantite.
TL62AI9: Brochantite
Brochantite crystals from Milpillas are famous for their sharpness and generally excellent quality. Here we have a group of idiomorphic Brochantite crystals with well-defined faces and edges and chisel-like terminations. The specimen’s composition, with large crystals on matrix coated by smaller crystals, makes for fine aesthetics. In my opinion this locality produces the world’s finest Brochantite specimens.
Milpillas Mine, Cuitaca, Municipio Santa Cruz, Sonora  Mexico (2012)
Specimen size: 5.2 × 4.5 × 4.6 cm = 2.0” × 1.8” × 1.8”

Price: Euro:680 / US$750 / Yen:81560 / AUD$1100
Brochantite.
TL79AB4: Brochantite
A novelty at Tucson 2015. Fibrous Brochantite is very well known at the Milpillas mine but this sample has aggregates of elongated idiomorphic crystals, one of them clearly isolated and doubly terminated, with very well defined faces and edges and chisel like terminations. In our opinion, the world's best for the species for their definition, crystal size, as well as their color and luster and, in general, very high quality.
Milpillas Mine, Cuitaca, Municipio Santa Cruz, Sonora  Mexico (07-08/2014)
Specimen size: 9.5 × 6.3 × 3.3 cm = 3.7” × 2.5” × 1.3”

Main crystal size: 1 × 0.4 cm = 0.4” × 0.2”

Price: Euro:480 / US$529 / Yen:57570 / AUD$770

TV16AD9: Brochantite on Fluorite
Radial growths of green acicular Brochantite microcrystals on a crystalline Fluorite matrix that is translucent and has a sky blue color with slightly violet zones. Very unusual, the sample is from an old collection.
