An unquestionably high quality example that combines crystals of flattened habit with others more prismatic, some doubly terminated and all of them very sharp, translucent, extraordinarily brilliant and with the vivid blue color (“electric blue”) that has made Azurites famous from this locality. The contrast with the very white Dickite completes the panorama of this extraordinary piece.

Just in time before the closing of Touissit mines, we managed to obtain this superb Azurite specimen. Crystals standing free on their white Dolomite matrix. The sharp crystal form, luster, color and perfection make this specimen one of the best of this size for this mine.

Aggregate of flattened crystals, very sharp, very lustrous and with a very vivid color that is extremely reminiscent of the electric blue of Milpillas crystals. On the faces of the Azurite there are small Baryte crystals and Malachite aggregates.

Single Azurite crystal on a matrix with small globular growths of Bayldonite. The crystal is translucent, has a very deep color and the vivid blue sparkles characteristic of the first Azurite finds at Tsumeb. The termination is partially and superficially replaced by Malachite.

Very sharp flattened single translucent Azurite crystal with very well defined faces and edges, very bright with an extraordinary deep blue (electric blue) color typical of the best samples from Milpillas. The crystal is implanted on a rock matrix coated by acicular Brochantite crystals, rarely associated with Azurite.

Rosette aggregates of flattened Azurite crystals. They are bright, with deep blue color and vivid metallic blue transparency. They have small white Calcite crystals spread on their surface. It is a good size in comparison with the usual rosettes from this mine.
