ER47AJ1: Acanthite with Dolomite
Very sharp and very bright Acanthite crystals that are implanted on a matrix coated by rhombohedral Dolomite crystals between yellow and pale brown in color. An excellent German classic that was in the Moutet collection, at Marseille. With the sample we will send to the buyer an old label from the prestigious Deyrolle dealers, Paris.

Acanthite with Proustite.
TV47AH6: Acanthite with Proustite
Isolated cubic crystal, something that is very uncommon with Acanthite, deformed but with very well defined faces and edges. It is bright and on a Calcite and Quartz matrix with massive Proustite. The sample is from a historic mine, very well known for Proustite crystals but where crystallized Acanthite is rare. We’ll send to the buyer the original label and also a copy of the computer card with the full collection catalog text.

ML36G5: Acanthite with Proustite
A group of octahedral crystals, very well shaped, aerial and, which is quite rare on the samples from Imiter, they are lustrous. All over the piece there are a lot of small red Proustite crystals.

A novelty from the Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines Mineral Show. Uniaxial and parallel growth of octahedral Acanthite pseudomorphous after Argentite crystals. With very well defined faces and edges, these specimens have an exceptional luster, much better than other Acanthite specimens from Imiter we have seen before. On the back side of the sample one can see small Pyrite and Calcite crystals.

Acanthite with Quartz and Pyrite.
TF86AH5: Acanthite with Quartz and Pyrite
Acanthite crystals with the dominant forms of the cube some of whose faces have very deep hollowed growths. One of the more dominant and very aerial crystals is extraordinarily elongated. They are on matrix with Quartz and small and very bright Pyrite crystals.
The sample, a great classic, is from the David and Emily Stoudt collection of Houston, Texas, and previously in the Kenneth C. Raba and Arson collections in New York. We’ll send the three labels to the buyer.

Floater aggregate of cubo-octahedral crystals with very well defined faces and edges, with a very good length and with some hoppered surfaces. The luster is excellent for the species. It’s really a “powerful” piece and deserves to be in any Museum in the World. It also has small groups of wire Silver forming "nests".

TP66AJ8: Selenium-rich Acanthite with Pyrite
Aerial growth of dodecahedral Acanthite crystals, a very unusual form for the species, some of them with “window” growths and partially coated by small Pyrite crystals. The sample has been analyzed, the analytic results indicating a high selenium content. We will send a copy of the analysis to the buyer.
The specimen has been reviewed, photographed and published as a new discovery in the magazine ‘Mineral Up’ on page 43 of the 2019/02 edition.

Acanthite crystal growths (selenium-rich) with the dominant faces being the rhombododecahedron, an unusual form for the species, some of them with hoppered growths, associated with Polybasite crystals, likewise rich in selenium, Calcite, and coatings of small Pyrite crystals. Analyses of the specimen, of which we will send a copy to the buyer, indicate a high content of selenium in both the Acanthite and the Polybasite.
