Aerial and arborescent growth of Silver crystals with the very marked cubic forms having been preserved, and that has been completely pseudomorphed by Acanthite. The specimen is a Moroccan classic for silver minerals, of which only few specimens are seen in the mineralogical market.

The sample is from a historic mine, very well known for Proustite crystals but where crystallized Acanthite is rare. With very well defined faces and edges, these specimens have an exceptional luster, much better than other Acanthite specimens from Imiter we have seen before. On the back side of the sample one can see small Pyrite and Calcite crystals.

Acanthite crystals with the dominant forms of the cube some of whose faces have very deep hollowed growths. One of the more dominant and very aerial crystals is extraordinarily elongated. They are on matrix with Quartz and small and very bright Pyrite crystals.
The sample, a great classic, is from the David and Emily Stoudt collection of Houston, Texas, and previously in the Kenneth C. Raba and Arson collections in New York. We’ll send the three labels to the buyer.
