Aggregate of elongated crystals, one of them doubly terminated, bright, with very well defined faces and edges, with a greenish-yellow color and mauve colored phantom growths in the center of each crystal. Samples of Vesuvianite from Asbestos of this quality are now very scarce since the reservoir is flooded.

Group of thick crystals, forming polysynthetic aggregates with well defined lateral faces and terminations. Crystal terminations show well defined light green color zonations. The other terminations are contacted but not fractured. Excellent and intense color.

The single crystal is better defined than usual for this classic Mexican locality. Its morphology, perfectly distinct, consists of two prisms and a dipyramid, incomplete in the lower part of the crystal.

The eight faces making up the sides of the crystal, which are very well-defined and brilliant, correspond to the two tetragonal prisms. Its upper termination diverges into an attractive spray of small prisms with the same characteristics.
