Specimen size: 6.1 × 3.7 × 3.3 cm = 2.40” × 1.46” × 1.30”

Price: [SOLD]
Stibnite with Calcite.
JX60X9: Stibnite with Calcite

Price: [SOLD]
Stibnite with Calcite.
JM61X9: Stibnite with Calcite
Bundled aggregates of thin prismatic Stibnite crystals. They are very bright, have good terminations and are partially coated by white Calcite.
Xikuangshan Sb deposit, Lengshuijiang, Loudi Prefecture, Hunan Province  China (±1997)
Specimen size: 4.2 × 4 × 3.3 cm = 1.65” × 1.57” × 1.30”

Stibnite with Calcite.
JD14W6: Stibnite with Calcite
Radial group of very sharp crystals of Stibnite with perfect terminations and partially coated by globular growths of Calcite.
Xikuangshan Sb deposit, Lengshuijiang, Loudi Prefecture, Hunan Province  China (±1997)
Specimen size: 9.7 × 1.9 × 0.9 cm = 3.82” × 0.75” × 0.35”

Main crystal size: 7 × 0.4 cm = 2.76” × 0.16”

Price: [SOLD]
Stibnite with Calcite.
TK47Q6: Stibnite with Calcite
Stibnite crystals partially included in groups of scalenohedral Calcite crystals that are very transparent, much of them doubly terminated and, as a curiosity, some of them forming a “butterfly” twin.
Xikuangshan Sb deposit, Lengshuijiang, Loudi Prefecture, Hunan Province  China (10/2009)
Specimen size: 6.9 × 6.7 × 4.6 cm = 2.72” × 2.64” × 1.81”

Price: [SOLD]
Stibnite with Marcasite.
TF36H5: Stibnite with Marcasite
Crystals have a not so common habit because are very short and flattened prisms. The definition of their faces and edges is excellent as is the aerial distribution of crystals on the Marcasite matrix.
Baia Sprie Mine, Baia Sprie, Maramures  Romania (1984-1985)
Specimen size: 10.5 × 6.5 × 5.8 cm = 4.13” × 2.56” × 2.28”

Main crystal size: 2.5 × 1.9 cm = 0.98” × 0.75”

Price: [SOLD]
Stibnite with Pyrite.
MC69R3: Stibnite with Pyrite
Group of thick short prismatic crystals of Stibnite, with excellent terminations, typical of the Poiana Botizei mine, a locality that in its best times offered not too many samples but commonly of good quality.
With a label from the Joan Abella i Creus collection that we’ll send to the buyer.
Poiana Botizei Mine, Baiut, Maramures  Romania (±1986)
Specimen size: 13.2 × 10.5 × 7.4 cm = 5.20” × 4.13” × 2.91”

Price: [SOLD]
Stibnite with Quartz.
FA63Z9: Stibnite with Quartz
Parallel aggregates of Stibnite crystals with very well defined curvatures. They are very large for the locality as is also true for their definition and luster. They are on a Quartz matrix with some very well defined crystals. Very unusual, as are many of the samples from this collection.
Nerón Mine, El Cerro de Andévalo, Comarca El Andévalo, Huelva, Andalusia  Spain (01/2009)
Specimen size: 6.4 × 4.7 × 4.6 cm = 2.52” × 1.85” × 1.81”

Main crystal size: 2.1 × 0.3 cm = 0.83” × 0.12”

Price: [SOLD]
Stibnite with Quartz and Calcite.
TC340EC: Stibnite with Quartz and Calcite
Groups of very lustrous Stibnite crystals with sharp crystal forms, with the typical Baiut habit: very short, flattened and with excellent terminations. On a Calcite matrix with small white Quartz crystals.
Baiut, Maramures  Romania (1960-1970)
Specimen size: 13.4 × 8 × 4.4 cm = 5.28” × 3.15” × 1.73”

Price: [SOLD]
Stibnite with Sulfur.
EX6F4: Stibnite with Sulfur
It is not a Stibiconite, as these are often labeled. We have analyzed it and we can confirm that it is a Stibnite that is covered with native Sulfur. The crystal is quite large, with perfectly defined edges and faces and it is almost completely covered by the sulfur, which makes it a neat yellow color.
As we normally do in these cases we will send a copy of the analysis.
Xikuangshan Sb deposit, Lengshuijiang, Loudi Prefecture, Hunan Province  China (1999)
Specimen size: 27.7 × 3.7 × 1.7 cm = 10.91” × 1.46” × 0.67”

Price: [SOLD]
Stibnite, Calcite.
1E06: Stibnite, Calcite
Aggregate of very bright Stibnite crystals on a Calcite matrix, with very well defined faces and edges and showing the characteristic habit of the Stibnite crystals from this mine, very short, flattened and with excellent terminations. They are on a Calcite matrix.
Baiut, Maramures  Romania (1970)
Specimen size: 4.9 × 5.2 × 4.5 cm = 1.93” × 2.05” × 1.77”

Price: [SOLD]
