TC24ERX: Sphalerite with Dolomite
A novelty at Munich Virtual 2020. Complex crystals of Sphalerite with equant habit and very well defined faces and edges, translucent, with bright luster and red-orange reflections. On matrix covered by rhombohedral Dolomite crystals with an intense pink color. This material was practically unknown until now, in both the Zelidja mine itself and in the entire Touissit mining district.

TC240NY: Sphalerite with Dolomite
Polycrystalline growths of complex shapes, with well-defined edges and faces, slightly curved, transparent, very lustrous and with a very deep and uniform honey-brown color, with small coatings of white rhombohedral Dolomite crystals. This piece comes from some small artisanal finds that were made in this mine after its closure. There is currently no access to the galleries.

NF57AM5: Sphalerite with Dolomite
Group of complex crystals of Sphalerite, transparent, with good luster and a very vivid orange color that contrasts with the matrix of rhombohedral Dolomite crystals with a snow-white color. A classic of Spanish mineralogy that comes from the Ignacio Gaspar collection (number BLD-4), whose collection card we will send to the buyer.

MB28AL0: Sphalerite with Dolomite
Complex crystals of Sphalerite with tetrahedral habit, but very rich in faces and with curvatures on the faces and edges. Transparent with intense color of a different tone from the usual, less red and more greenish-yellow. With inclusions and on a Dolomite encrusted matrix.

NG37AJ8: Sphalerite with Dolomite
Sphalerite crystals with complex but unusually well defined forms for the locality. They are bright, very transparent and have a very intense and uniform honey yellow color. On matrix with small white rhombohedral Dolomite crystals. A small jewel from Las Mánforas that comes from the Carlos González Bargueño collection whose label we will send to the buyer.
The sample has been noted and photographed in the article 'The Áliva Mining District' of the ‘Mineralogical Record‘ magazine on page 410 in the volume 52, number 4, July-August 2021

Group of Sphalerite crystals with small white Dolomite crystals. This Sphalerite is crystallographically complex, twinned, very translucent and transparent and of a delicious apple-green color, a color which, although known at this mine, is rarely seen in specimens of this quality. Comes from the Antonino Bueno collection whose label we will send to the buyer.

Group of Sphalerite crystals with pronounced curvatures on their faces and edges, translucent, with good luster and an intense color, on a rock matrix with white Dolomite crystals. The specimens from Las Mánforas, increasingly hard to get, are already a Spanish mineralogical classic.

Groups of crystals of Sphalerite with the dominant forms of the tetrahedron, transparent, with good luster and a very intense and vivid green color (variety cleiophane) on a matrix covered by white rhombohedral Dolomite crystals. The specimen is very different from what is usually seen at this locality both in color and in general appearance.

Group of lustrous and complex twinned crystals of Sphalerite, very deep honey colored, almost dark, sprinkled randomly with Dolomite crystals that give it a very marked color contrast. A classic of Cantabrian mining from Las Mánforas, in a spectacular location next to Picos de Europa National Park.

XM2580NTR: Sphalerite with Dolomite
A floater that shows two main complex and interpenetrating spherical groups of Sphalerite, with well defined faces and edges. They are translucent, with marked polysynthetic twins and an intense honey color, and are joined at the base with Dolomite crystals as the matrix. A classic of Cantabrian mining from Las Mánforas, located in a spectacular setting next to the Picos de Europa National Park. It belonged to Santiago Jiménez who, especially in the 1980s and 90s, assembled an excellent collection with a very good representation of the mineralogy of Northern Spain.

The crystals, between transparent and translucent, have a deep and uniform dense caramel color, and are on and between sharp white crystals of Dolomite, with small remnants of a limestone matrix. From a classic Spanish mine for Sphalerite located in a spectacular setting next to Los Picos de Europa National Park, inaccessible already for many years since its galleries were flooded.

Very aerial group of complex Sphalerite crystals, translucent, with very good luster and a very deep and uniform reddish color, on matrix, with white rhombohedral Dolomite crystals. The specimen comes from the Ignacio Gaspar Sintes collection (number BLD-11) and was previously in that of Eugeni Bareche (number 2023).

Group of perfectly sharp and profiled Sphalerite crystals with complex crystallography and twinning, with the characteristic honeyed color, transparent, implanted on a rock matrix, on very sharp snow-white Dolomite crystals. The specimen comes from a classic Spanish mine for Sphalerite, located in a spectacular landscape next to the Picos de Europa National Park, and it has been inaccessible for many years due to the galleries being flooded. From the collection of Andrés Jiménez Shelly who bought it years ago from Jordi Fabre.

NK57K9: Sphalerite with Dolomite
An excellent miniature of sharp faces and edges, with a very well defined twin. Excellent transparency, luster and color, which resembles honey. Crystals are partially covered by white Dolomite.
The specimen has been reviewed and published in the magazine ‘Lapis’ on page 23, volume 36, number 7-8, July-August 2011 and on the Mineralogical Record´s web page, in the ‘What's New’ section of the March 13, 2008 edition.
