Silver with Calcite.
MV27AG5: Silver with Calcite
Very aerial growth of curved (“wire”) and hooked native silver crystals that are very elongated with a striated aspect. Small Calcite granules are included in the Silver.
The sample, very typical of Kongsberg, is from the Leif Engman collection, of Sweden, and one of the added labels indicates it was previously in the Axel R. Andersson collection, of Uppsala, three labels that we’ll send to the buyer.
The specimen has been photographed and published in the magazine ‘Paragénesis’, number 01/2018, page 101
Kongsberg mining District, Kongsberg, Buskerud  Norway
Specimen size: 3.6 × 1.6 × 1.3 cm = 1.42” × 0.63” × 0.51”

Silver with Calcite.
JA26E8: Silver with Calcite
For its size the sample is really precious. Like a fossilized crystal of fern, the Silver surrounds the Calcite matrix, both of which sit on a fragment of rock that acts as its matrix.
Batopilas, Andrés del Río District, Municipio Batopilas, Chihuahua  Mexico (±1993)
Specimen size: 3.6 × 2.5 × 2 cm = 1.42” × 0.98” × 0.79”

RE27G0: Silver with Calcite
An esthetic specimen, very aerial, in which are some crystals are elongated and some of them show the twin plane clearly, in a Calcite matrix.
Sr. Folch purchased the specimen in 1962, but, as documentation explains, it was probably mined around 1910.
Batopilas, Andrés del Río District, Municipio Batopilas, Chihuahua  Mexico (±1910)
Specimen size: 5.9 × 3.5 × 3.3 cm = 2.32” × 1.38” × 1.30”

Silver with Calcite.
EM16W7: Silver with Calcite
Very aerial laminar growth with fresh, very well marked crystalline surfaces. It is on a rocky matrix, with cleaved Calcite. Its excellent condition of conservation in spite of the long time since it was mined suggests it hasn't embedded or interstitial mercury. It is not, then, the variety kongsbergite, the more typical Silver at this locality.
Imiter Mine, Jebel Saghro, Imiter District, Tinghir Province, Drâa-Tafilalet Region  Morocco (±1990)
Specimen size: 13.5 × 7.3 × 7 cm = 5.31” × 2.87” × 2.76”
