A peculiar discovery from 2021 in the Austria Duvas Mine, where these rhodochrosites appeared in rosette shapes associated with Quartz and minor Sphalerite. Their striking resemblance to the rhodochrosites from Cavnic, Romania, is curious to the extent that at mineral shows, Romanian dealers seeking pieces for their home market sometimes get confused and believe that they are from their own country. In any case, they are truly pretty.

A peculiar discovery from 2021 in the Austria Duvas Mine, where these rhodochrosites appeared in rosette shapes associated with Quartz and minor Sphalerite.
