Pineapple-shaped aggregate formed by cubic Pyrite crystals with a bright luster and golden reflections with well-defined crystal faces and edges, arranged on a matrix formed of carbonates, mainly Calcite with somewhat scalenohedral grey crystals and with a partial coating of pale cream-colored Dolomite crystals. The Trepča mining complex is one of the largest polymetallic deposits in the world and for many years, and still now, produce exceptional pieces of Sphalerite as well as various combinations of sulphides and carbonates, as shown in this specimen from the former collection of Ferat Voca.
