Pyrite, Calcite.
1M13: Pyrite, Calcite
Rhombohedral Calcite crystals aggregate, completely upholstered by a layer of bright pyrite crystals. A second generation of Calcite crystals has been deposited on the Pyrite layer offering a good color contrast.

Pyrite, Calcite, Dolomite.
2V10: Pyrite, Calcite, Dolomite
Octahedral Pyrite crystal, with sharp faces and edges and slightly rounded vertices, rusty appearance, implanted in Dolomite matrix and accompanied by small Calcite crystals.
Trimouns Mine, Luzenac, Haute-Ariège, Foix, Ariège Department, Occitanie  France

Pyrite, Chalcopyrite, Quartz.
16MF13: Pyrite, Chalcopyrite, Quartz
A cubic Pyrite crystal implanted on matrix, with marked striations on the cube faces, partially covered by small iridescent Chalcopyrite crystals and associated with druses of sharp, water-clear Quartz crystals, all on matrix. The Pyrite crystal is arranged in the center of the piece and in an aerial manner. It comes from a classic mining district that began extracting sulphides in the 14th century.
Cavnic Mine, Cavnic mining area, Cavnic, Maramures  Romania
Specimen size: 11.5 × 7.0 × 3.0 cm = 4.53” × 2.76” × 1.18”

Pyrite, Dolomite, Calcite.
19TLB46: Pyrite, Dolomite, Calcite
Pineapple-shaped aggregate formed by cubic Pyrite crystals with a bright luster and golden reflections with well-defined crystal faces and edges, arranged on a matrix formed of carbonates, mainly Calcite with somewhat scalenohedral grey crystals and with a partial coating of pale cream-colored Dolomite crystals. The Trepča mining complex is one of the largest polymetallic deposits in the world and for many years, and still now, produce exceptional pieces of Sphalerite as well as various combinations of sulphides and carbonates, as shown in this specimen from the former collection of Ferat Voca.
