Hematite after Magnetite (variety martite).
ET96M5: Hematite after Magnetite (variety martite)
A novelty this year in Munich, because it is from a very recent find. Parallel and skeletal growths of octahedral crystals, some of them extraordinarily elongated, pseudomorphs after Magnetite, very well defined, bright and almost completely covered by a second generation of small laminar crystals of Hematite.
Payún Matru Volcano, Malargüe, Malargüe Department, Mendoza Province  Argentina
Specimen size: 11.7 × 8.9 × 6.1 cm = 4.61” × 3.50” × 2.40”

Price: [SOLD]
Hematite after Magnetite (variety martite).
TY67Q1: Hematite after Magnetite (variety martite)
Extraordinarily acute parallel growth of octahedral crystals, pseudomorphs of Magnetite, with very well defined faces and edges and with very well marked skeletal growths. On the faces of the Hematite a second generation of very bright thin small laminar crystals of the same mineral has formed.
Payún Matru Volcano, Malargüe, Malargüe Department, Mendoza Province  Argentina (2008)
Specimen size: 10.6 × 5.1 × 4 cm = 4.17” × 2.01” × 1.57”

Main crystal size: 3.5 × 2 cm = 1.38” × 0.79”

Price: €220 / US$248 / ¥28150 / AUD$350
Hematite after Magnetite (variety martite).
EK87K3: Hematite after Magnetite (variety martite)
On the specimen coexist two generations of crystals of Hematite. The first one has arborescent growths of octahedral crystals that are pseudomorphs after Magnetite (the variety Martite). On those octahedrons is formed a second generation of very bright laminar crystals of Hematite. Aside from its mineralogical interest, the specimen is notably esthetic. A very good sample.
The specimen has been reviewed, photographed and published as a new discovery in the magazine ‘Rivista Mineralogica Italiana’ on page 286 in number 2007/4.
Payún Matru Volcano, Malargüe, Malargüe Department, Mendoza Province  Argentina (04/2007)
Specimen size: 9.1 × 10.3 × 7.7 cm = 3.58” × 4.06” × 3.03”

Price: [SOLD]
Magnetite (variety martite) on matrix.
HM280TE: Magnetite (variety martite) on matrix
Very aerial group of octahedral pseudomorphs of Hematite after Magnetite crystals, very sharp, with bright luster. On matrix, which is very uncommon.
Payún Matru Volcano, Malargüe, Malargüe Department, Mendoza Province  Argentina (2008)
Specimen size: 8 × 6.6 × 5 cm = 3.15” × 2.60” × 1.97”

Main crystal size: 2.8 × 1.6 cm = 1.10” × 0.63”

Price: €280 / US$316 / ¥35830 / AUD$440
