Dendritic growths of flattened crystals that have very well defined faces and edges, with hoppered faces, very bright and on a rocky matrix coated by small Quartz crystals. A great European classic, where most of the samples were found in the 19th century.

Dendritic growths of generally hooked Gold crystals, some with crystal forms deformed by curvatures, on Quartz matrix. The specimen comes from a find at the end of the 19th century in a location practically unknown by the Gold seekers of the time, although it was later reported in scientific and popular publications, and was discovered by chance among the minerals for sale at a local merchant.

A surface very rich with flat leafy Gold growths, with some acicular Gold crystals, on a rock matrix partially coated by micro-crystalline Quartz. The sample is from a not yet well-known Colombian mining area and, due its quality and good color and luster, we believe it is one of the best found there.
The specimen has been reviewed, photographed and published in the magazine ‘Mineral Up’ on page 35 of the 2018/02 edition.
