Fluorite with hydrocarbon inclusions.
JFD233AQ0: Fluorite with hydrocarbon inclusions
Although it may not look like it in the photo, this is an overwhelming piece, for the size of the crystals, for their sharpness and perfection and, above all, for the numerous oriented inclusions of natural hydrocarbons inside the large crystals of Fluorite. We are used to seeing this type of inclusion inside Berbes quartzes, but much less in their fluorites. The piece is a floater and, in my opinion, spectacular.

Fluorite with inclusions of Cinnabar and sulphides, with Calcite.
JFD59AN9: Fluorite with inclusions of Cinnabar and sulphides, with Calcite
In the first fluorites found in the Emilio mine it was relatively common for them to have sulphide inclusions, but only rarely were they Cinnabar. Later, these inclusions were seen less often, although a piece still appears occasionally with such inclusions. This specimen also shows several Calcite crystals with a more complex crystal habit than the simple scalenohedra typical of this locality. I bought it from a peddler in the mine in May 1993. What times those were...
