Quartz crystals coated by small Siderite crystals and aggregates, on which rest isolated Fluorite crystals with a very deep violet color and showing the cube and dodecahedron forms in about equal proportions. This specimen offers a fine example of the variety of forms and colors seen in the Fluorite recently found on the upper levels at Panasqueira.

MT47AB8: Fluorite with Siderite, Calcite, Chlorite and Arsenopyrite
Druse of Fluorite by the well balanced cube and dodecahedron faces. Their exterior is pale blue but they have a deep violet octahedral center. They are on matrix, with Muscovite, aggregates of laminar Siderite and small Arsenopyrite. The upper levels of Panasqueira are currently offering surprising and pleasant novelties, with samples that are very different from what has been known from this mine.
