TC2260BRB: Cuprodongchuanite on Quartz with Calcite, Veszelyite and Hemimorphite

Spherical aggregates of translucent Cuprodongchuanite, with good luster and a pale green color, on Quartz matrix, with Calcite, and with by pale sky-blue botryoidal Hemimorphite crystals and Veszelyite crystals. Cuprodongchuanite is a new species recently approved by the IMA (reference number IMA 2021-065), but still pending publication. A find made at the end of the year 2021, it is a curious phosphate of Pb, Cu and Zn, the copper analog of Dongchuanite, and comes from the type locality (TL)

Translucent, lustrous pale bluish green spheroidal aggregates of Cuprodongchuanite, a rare phosphate of lead, copper and zinc, discovered very recently and approved by the IMA as a new species in 2021. On matrix, with white aggregates of Hemimorphite and small blue crystals of Veszelyite. The specimen is from the type locality for the species.

Translucent and lustrous spheroidal aggregates with a pale bluish green color of Cuprodongchuanite, a rare phosphate of lead, copper and zinc, discovered very recently and approved by the IMA as a new species in 2021. On matrix, accompanied by numerous Veszelyite crystals, very sharp and deep blue. The specimen is from the type locality for the species.
