TX28AG1: Calcite with inclusions
In 2009, very curious Calcites with milky tops and bottoms, transparent lateral faces and "jungles" of inclusions of what seems to be a kind of mud, appeared in China. As fast as they appeared they disappeared and as far as I know it was never known exactly where they came from beyond "Lishui." This is a good example of this unusual find.

JFD48AN8: Calcite with inclusions
Where they exist in the mine they are prolific. Among the many many Calcites that have been found there, Francesco Stoppani chose this one and I agree so much with him that I also chose it when I bought part of his collection. The black inclusions are almost certainly manganese oxides, but I have not confirmed this analytically.
