Calcite (cobalt-bearing variety).
16NMA66: Calcite (cobalt-bearing variety)
Polished section, on one of its faces, translucent with banded growth patterns and intensely colored nuclei. The specimen preserves on some of the edges part of its original matrix, which contrasts with the deep color of the Calcite. A classic of Catalan mineralogy.
Solita Mine, Peramea, Baix Pallars, Comarca Pallars Sobirà, Lleida / Lérida, Catalonia  Spain
Specimen size: 9.1 × 5.8 × 1.5 cm = 3.58” × 2.28” × 0.59”

Price: €150 / US$172 / ¥19640 / AUD$233
Calcite (variety cobaltoan).
1E13: Calcite (variety cobaltoan)
Banded growths of pink cobaltoan Calcite alternating with fine bands of white and yellowish Calcite on a Permo-Triassic age conglomerate matrix. The specimen, despite its fine surface, has not been acid-etched, as proven by its rough surfaces in most areas and the existence of easily altered carbonates.
Solita Mine, Peramea, Baix Pallars, Comarca Pallars Sobirà, Lleida / Lérida, Catalonia  Spain (2016)
Specimen size: 6.7 × 5.0 cm = 2.64” × 1.97”

Price: €80 / US$92 / ¥10470 / AUD$120
Calcite (variety cobaltoan).
SM140EZB: Calcite (variety cobaltoan)
Druse, on a Quartz matrix, of very acute scalenohedral Calcite crystals (cobalt-bearing variety) with rhombohedral terminations, between transparent and translucent, with a color between deep pink and mauve, and with a first generation of crystals with the same morphology but with more orange tones.
Agoudal Mines, Agoudal, Bou Azzer mining district, Zagora Province, Drâa-Tafilalet Region  Morocco (2013)
Specimen size: 9.3 × 5.3 × 3.7 cm = 3.66” × 2.09” × 1.46”

Price: €140 / US$161 / ¥18330 / AUD$210
Calcite (variety cobaltoan).
TX66AM9: Calcite (variety cobaltoan)
Very aerial growth of Calcite crystals with the dominant forms of a rhombohedron, but very rich in faces, transparent, with very bright luster and an especially deep and uniform mauve color.
Agoudal Mines, Agoudal, Bou Azzer mining district, Zagora Province, Drâa-Tafilalet Region  Morocco (2019)
Specimen size: 5.9 × 4.4 × 2.1 cm = 2.32” × 1.73” × 0.83”

Main crystal size: 1.4 × 1.1 cm = 0.55” × 0.43”

Price: €180 / US$207 / ¥23570 / AUD$280
Calcite (variety cobaltoan).
TV87AM9: Calcite (variety cobaltoan)
Very aerial growth of Calcite crystals with the dominant forms of a rhombohedron, but very rich in faces, transparent, with very bright luster and an especially deep and uniform mauve color.
Agoudal Mines, Agoudal, Bou Azzer mining district, Zagora Province, Drâa-Tafilalet Region  Morocco (2019)
Specimen size: 6.4 × 6 × 3.2 cm = 2.52” × 2.36” × 1.26”

Price: €290 / US$334 / ¥37980 / AUD$450
Calcite (variety cobaltoan).
EY63Y2: Calcite (variety cobaltoan)
A novelty at St. Marie 2013 (because of the scalenohedral crystals). Druse, on matrix, of very acute scalenohedral crystals with rhombohedral terminations. They are between transparent and translucent and have a color between deep pink and mauve, with a second generation of crystals with the same morphology, but with orange shades.
Agoudal Mines, Agoudal, Bou Azzer mining district, Zagora Province, Drâa-Tafilalet Region  Morocco (2013)
Specimen size: 7.9 × 7.2 × 4.5 cm = 3.11” × 2.83” × 1.77”

Main crystal size: 0.8 × 0.3 cm = 0.31” × 0.12”

Price: €95 / US$109 / ¥12440 / AUD$140
Calcite (variety cobaltoan) with Calcite and Pyrite.
EG96W2: Calcite (variety cobaltoan) with Calcite and Pyrite
Irregular aggregate of crystals formed by a short prism with six faces and a flattened terminal rhombohedron, with vertical parallel growths all along the prism. The crystals are bright and have a deep and uniform mauve color.
Agoudal Mines, Agoudal, Bou Azzer mining district, Zagora Province, Drâa-Tafilalet Region  Morocco (2012)
Specimen size: 8 × 7.5 × 3.3 cm = 3.15” × 2.95” × 1.30”
