Short prismatic crystals of Brochantite, many of them doubly terminated and of a good size for what is known in the locality. Translucent, with very bright luster and a very deep green color, on matrix with Malachite of a lighter green color.

Short prismatic crystals of Brochantite, larger than others known from this locally, many of them doubly terminated, with good luster and a very deep green color. On matrix, associated with Malachite of a lighter green color. The specimen is from the Pedro Hernández collection.

A novelty at Munich 2016. Spray-like aggregates of finely acicular crystals with a very intense silky luster. They are on a rocky matrix with Quartz (chalcedony variety) coatings. The sample is from a formerly poorly known mine.
