Great specimen, both for its size and for being very unusual, with very sharp Baryte crystals, between tabular and lamellar, and totally different from the classic ones from this deposit. In addition, the crystals are covered by very unusual orange Sphalerite crystals (analyzed) which form globular groups. The specimen undoubtedly owes its rarity to the fact that it is very old and comes from the collection of Pierre-Marie Guy, who was the one who acquired it from the miner Robert Guy.

On this bed of Dolomite crystals were deposited some fine crystals of Baryte of a bluish color, partially doubly terminated, with sharp edges and faces and a brilliant luster. An English classic.
