A splendid group of tabular Baryte crystals, which are very transparent, lemon yellow with hints of orange, and which contrast very well with the matrix of lenticular yellowish Calcite. A really special specimen.

TC26G3: Baryte on Fluorite
This floater specimen is very esthetic and original. Tabular white crystals of Baryte are aerial on a Fluorite crystal having a curious growth, formed by three faces of a cube and a fourth one being octahedral, where the Baryte group is attached.

TXC47AP9: Baryte on Sphalerite
Oval shaped aggregate formed by tabular Baryte crystals, lustrous and snow-white. On matrix and with transparent, lustrous and very sharp Sphalerite crystals. The specimen comes from the Alain Martaud collection, whose label we will send to the buyer. It is relatively unusual since the 'pom-pom' barytes from this locality do not usually appear associated with Sphalerite.

ED26Z4: Baryte with "plumosite" inclusions
Aggregate of tabular Baryte crystals, between translucent and transparent, very bright and with an intense and uniform yellow color. The crystals on the base of the aggregate have a dark gray color due to the presence of Boulangerite (variety plumosite) inclusions. A great museum piece, currently very difficult to obtain due to the closure of all the mines in Baia Mare mining area.

Aggregate of thin tabular and very sharp Baryte crystals that are transparent, very bright, with a very uniform yellow color and on matrix, with colorless, clear and bright scalenohedral Calcite crystals. An excellent Spanish classic, unusual, due the yellow baryte color.

Group of very sharp and thick tabular Baryte crystals, some of them doubly terminated, with parallel growths, translucent, bright, with a pale sky blue color, with complex translucent and bright Calcite crystals and partially bordered by small white Dolomite crystals.
The sample is from the Raúl Sanabria collection whose label we’ll send to the buyer.

SV2220MTB: Baryte with Calcite
Parallel growths, on Calcite matrix, of flattened Baryte crystals (some of them doubly terminated) with a prismatic habit and slight curvatures. They are transparent, very lustrous, and of an intense and uniform sky-blue color. The specimen is in very good condition, which in these barytes is like a small miracle. It comes from a find in November 2022 at a locality that was believed to no longer yield any more quality specimens.

Group of sharp laminar crystals, transparent and slightly bluish with some of their edges coated by small crystals of white Calcite and on matrix. The sample is from the first find of good material at the locality (between September 2002 and March 2003) but we decided not to publish it before knowing the exact locality, just determined in August 2009.

Cream-colored Calcite crystals with a lenticular shape, one of them clearly dominant, with transparent tabular Baryte crystals with a yellow color instead of the more frequent blue. Also white rhombohedral Dolomite crystals and a matrix of transparent Fluorite crystals with an intense yellow color, with fine coatings of metallic sulphides.

It comes from a find in November 2022 at a locality that was believed to no longer yield any more quality specimens.
