Group of Baryte crystals with very sharp crystal forms. Transparent, with good luster and an intense and uniform color with golden tones. This specimen, a French classic of great quality and large size, comes from the finds made by Lisarde between 1974 and 1990, and was in the collection of Alain Martaud, whose label we will send to the buyer.

Parallel and rod-like growths, on matrix, of much flattened prismatic crystals with slight curvatures on the edges, transparent, very bright and with a very intense sky-blue color. The sample is in excellent condition, which for these Barytes is like a small miracle.

Group of tabular Baryte crystals, one of them clearly dominant, transparent, shiny, with a slightly smoky color and abundant inclusions. Of good quality for this Portuguese locality which is little known to collectors.

Group flattened doubly terminated crystals with parallel growths. They are translucent, with an intense honey yellow color and are partially coated by a second generation of small crystals of the same Baryte. From one of the great classic European localities.

From a very recent find on Cerro Warihuyn, it has very different characteristics from the samples known so far. A tabular crystal of perfectly defined faces and edges, very transparent and of deep yellow color. Very esthetic and aerial on the Dolomite matrix.

TB81F9: Baryte
Baryte form Egremont is considered as a classic among the classics. The crystal has tabular form and the blue color typical for the pieces of that deposit. The clear color contrasts nicely with the red of the iron oxides, also included along the edges.
It’s a piece with a wide “pedigree” reflected by the labels, one of them from the U.S. National Museum.
