Just like last year, the Munich show was notable for the weather that we had during the show. This year, as it was a week later than last year, we had the opposite weather: the cold snap included snow and temperatures of 5 C below zero. Brrrr!

But the actual show is so popular that this did not deter the visitors. For many people this is the best event in the whole year, so no one was willing to miss it, no matter how cold it was.

Overall the feeling is that Mineralientage a very well established show and that no matter what happens it will always be the classic European show it has become. That said; watch out since we heard many people say that the prices of both the minerals and the show itself are too high and that this will put them off coming back in the future. We mentioned this last year and it looks like things have not improved, in fact the problem persists.
