Excellent specimen of this uncommon manganese phosphate. Reddingite crystals are well defined, with good color, brilliance and size for the species. The matrix consisists of delicate rosettes of prismatic Huréaulite crystals, very sharp and with good brilliance, with pinkish tones. On the base there is a growth of crystalline and deep blue Strengite with small Triphylite crystals. As we usually do with rare species, we will send a copy of the analysis of the Reddingite and Triphylite to the buyer.

The crystal growth of this specimen inside a tight cavity makes it different from other Adamites. Formed by two fan-shaped groups of Adamite crystals, nearly perpendicular, this specimen shows marked triangular terminal faces.

Interesting specimen formed by groups of fan-shaped colorless and very bright Hemimorphite crystals, with very sharp edges and faces. Some of them have intergrown with a generation of snowy white and defined rhombohedral Calcite crystals. Some Hemimorphite crystals are imbedded in Calcite crystals and others are showing terminal faces. Previously in the T.L. Potucek Collection.

The phosphate deposit of Palazuelo de las Cuevas (Zamora, Spain) is well known for the presence of Variscite. This mineral was mined by Prehistoric man. Variscite occasionally is accompanied by Turquoise, Wavellite and other phosphates. In this specimen the Turquoise occurs as pale blue micro crystals coating a small vug. We call your attention on the nice acicular Wavellite radial crystal growths with good luster and yellow to apple-green color. We’ll provide a copy of the analysis to the buyer. A classic sample from a classic Spanish locality.

This specimen comes from the pockets of the granite area of El Berrueco (Madrid). A big Quartz crystal partially covered by a thin layer of colorless but very bright and well defined Apophyllite-(KF) crystals. There are small and isolated generations of Fluorapophyllite crystals on the Quartz pyramid faces not covered by Apophyllite-(KF).

On a Limonite matrix, very bright Jarosite crystals showing a tabular habit, some in groups of rosettes and other isolated crystals with developed prism faces. Brown color is very intense and excellent transparency. NASA Opportunity Rover prospecting on planet Mars found Jarosite that may point to the rock's wet history having been in an acidic lake or an acidic hot springs environment, like in Barranco Jaroso deposit.

Parallel growth of prismatic and tabular Barite crystals. Some of them doubly terminated and translucent, showing a grey bluish color (blue with transmitted a light source). This specimen comes from an old find close to Stoneham, Colorado (USA), where doubly terminated crystals were not so common.
