SV1900EPM: Fluorite with Calcite

Group of cubic Fluorite crystals covering two large main crystals of Calcite, one of them rhombohedral at the base of the piece and another in the form of a scalenohedral crown. The Fluorite crystals exhibit very marked bevels and with deeper purplish tones, very typical for the historic locality from which this piece comes, the legendary Josefa-Veneros vein.

Novelty of the summer of 2021 and, in all probability, the best known so far for the species. The Imayoshiite occurs as numerous very sharp crystals with a hexagonal lenticular habit, transparent, very lustrous and colorless to cream-colored, with a single large crystal. MMX96AN9: Franklinite with Calcite

Octahedral crystals of Franklinite with very sharp crystal forms and with the dominant octahedron beveled by the dodecahedron. One of the crystals is clearly dominant and very aerial on a Calcite matrix. We emphasize that the crystal, in addition to being very aerial and complete, is practically free of damage, something really unusual in this type of specimen. To all this we must add that the specimen comes from the prestigious collections of John Kolic and Chester Lemanski.

ERB96AN4: Chalcocite

New discovery: very aerial group of Chalcocite crystals, huge for the species, between platy and tabular, very sharp, with a pseudo-hexagonal outline and great luster. This specimen, of high quality for the species, comes from new workings in the M'Passa area where a group of small mines used to produce, in their glorious past, specimens with large sharp crystals. With the closure of the workings in the 1980s, that glory was lost, although fortunately it has now returned with specimens as magnificent as those and, moreover, with a great variety of crystallographic habits.

Rosette growths of lamellar Wurtzite crystals with a very sharp hexagonal contour and good luster, unusually large in size for the species, on matrix, with very shiny cube-octahedral crystals of Galena. This well-known specimen, which comes from the prestigious Rock Currier collection (no. 6516), is considered the best of the find and undoubtedly among the most reputable. TR26AL5: Chrysocolla on Quartz

A novelty at the Sainte Marie 2020 Virtual show: Quartz crystals, one of them clearly dominant, covered by two generations of very vivid greenish blue chrysocolla, the first forming a smooth and uniform cover and the other, later, in botryoidal growths. From a well known Peruvian locality but one from which this type of specimen had not been found before.

The specimen comes from a find at the end of the 19th century in a location practically unknown by the Gold seekers of the time, although it was later reported in scientific and popular publications, and was discovered by chance among the minerals for sale at a local merchant.

A novelty on the market in 2022. Very aerial and aesthetic arborescent growth of Silver, with a very marked spinel-law twin plane. With small Calcite crystals that adorn it and differentiate it from the classic Hongda silvers. These pieces come from a find made in a small gold working, currently closed, and which showed no evidence of such good silvers until now.
