It is very good news that the La Parrilla mine, one of the largest classic Spanish deposits, is yielding collectible specimens again.

Complete and partially dipyramidal Scheelite crystal that is translucent, very bright and has a very intense orange color. It is partially coated by laminar Muscovite crystals and white cubic Fluorite crystals.

Very sharp, translucent and almost colorless Scheelite crystals on an aggregate of transparent small, cubic, Fluorite crystals with a clear lilac color, with Quartz crystals and partially coated by rhombohedral Dolomite. Unusual association for this “modern-classic,” from a mine which has not produced samples of quality for a long time.

Also it has notable Molybdenite inclusions, giving a kind of peculiar fluorescence. The specimen has been analyzed and we will send a copy of the analysis to the buyer.
