ER56AI1: Fluorite
Splendid druse of great quality and very esthetic, two generations of crystals both with a very sharp cubic morphology, very bright and with geometrical growths on the edges. Fluorite.
JFD25AN6: Fluorite
Totally different from what is normally expected from the Josefa-Veneros vein, this piece surprised me when I got it, but since it was from Dr. Anton Forster, a mining engineer and collaborator of Dr. Maucher at the University of Munich, that confirmed to me that it was really from there. Dr. Forster was head of geology at La Collada when the famous specimens from the Josefa-Veneros vein were being found. He only worked there during that period and, since the piece indeed has all the appearance of being from the La Collada area and not from La Viesca, after checking it with José Ramón García we came to the conclusion that, although unusual, it must indeed be from Josefa-Veneros. In any case, I was very happy with it …

Fluorite.
JFD06AN5: Fluorite
One of the best pockets at La Viesca, of the many found at the beginning of this century, was the one called 'Coquera de la Calcita' which produced large Fluorite crystals with a lot of color zoning and a lot of transparency. There was a lot of calcite in that vug so this piece (the one I kept from that vug) shows small white coatings of that mineral. A quite spectacular piece that has made me very happy all these years.

TB87AH0: Fluorite
A novelty at Tucson 2018. A group of Fluorite crystal cubes between translucent and transparent, with white inclusions, a very deep green color and marine-blue dichroism, clearly visible in sunlight. The locality is totally new and, even though Madagascar is a well-known mineralogical paradise, there were no more references to Fluorite occurrences other than the small crystals included in Quartz from Mandronarivo.

Fluorite.
ERT35AO0: Fluorite
Great piece, both for its size and its quality, being (in size) one of the best known fluorites from this deposit. The large cubes, with good transparency and a nice uniform green color, have inclusions and on some edges octahedral faces that can be distinguished from cleavages because they are somewhat rough and show crystal figures. Exceptional specimen from a historic mine.
